And, the only room on the upper floor is the Mancave...half bath, desk area, media space, pool table, shuffleboard, built-in seating area, full bar, and game table area...!!!!!

Trying to figure out dinner tomorrow. Can walk from Yacht Club to Brown Derby, etc. or maybe drive to Jiko.

Congrats! Just me but a dinner you could walk to and not have to worry about if a drink or 2 with it sounds yummy, not to mention maybe being able to time it for before or after fireworks. Can't go wrong either way Have fun and don't forget the pics

What supermarket sells organic dates by the case? I could only find the packages of Woodstock Farms at my local store. I ordered 2 pounds yesterday from Amazon for $14.

A car hurtling down a road, highway, etc., with an incompetent driver behind the wheel, is one of the most dangerous and scary things in modern times...

I assume the same. It is everyone else you need to worry about. The problem with the younger ones nowadays is so many are so used to focusing on a digital something that is usually less than a foot from their faces that they are not used to being observant of everything around them. I know that I constantly look at my mirrors and not just what's in front of me when I drive.

It went fine thanks for asking. It was long and hot (no ac), I also supervised the middle school volleyball game. That was long and hot too. Today is supposed to be cooler that will be wonderful.

Every bedroom with its own bath. Nice. Guest or maids quarters on the lower left? I like that the 3 bedrooms on the left side have a separate living space, like if it was a kids side it could be a play area. That is an amazing design for what mostly seems like a ranch. I could live in that!
Oh, I would want a bigger kitchen though.

I was vegan for a number of years. Never was a fan of dairy other than ice cream and mozzarella.

Now I am vegan about 80% of the time. I’ll eat fish, and recently added back in some chicken/turkey.

Pork/beef will only happen a few times a year when it’s “worth it.

At Disney, I’ll eat anything.

ETA: Breyers is now making a non-dairy ice cream that is better than So Delicious IMO but: it’s hard to find, and it still has sugar. (I avoid processed sugars also.)

Okay, so we need dairy free ice cream made with date sugar. I will work on it.
