OMG -- I had no idea. I thought you guys had one leak and it had been fixed--didn't realize the problem was wider. Yikes.

Thnx. Leak 2 was also minor, dh decided to just replace everything on that line so sleep has been fun NOT!

Nothing so hard. The only worrysome part is, the quake was VERY CLOSE to where the big 7.8 hit us in 1995

Infact, the quake was upgraded to 8.0 I did not know..

Here is the Mexican Seismology Center information.. there were a ton of very small afterchocks, but nothing that could be felt over here.

Poor Jasmine...not a fan of fireworks. They're doing the annual ones near us. Her eyes are all wide.

I guess. I think maybe because the bone wasn't aligned correctly and they had to reset it, maybe they wanted to make extra sure it wasn't going anywhere? We'll all be glad when he gets this cast off next week though!!! He'll finally be able to dress himself again. Last night, he says "You know what sucks? I have to wait until one of you is awake before I can get dressed!" (He's generally an early riser)

I don't know how they do it over your way but here if they think the kid is active the doctors seems to over cast.

A few have gone off in my area as well -- I'm sure the fools are testing their stash, with the BIG night coming up. Oh joy, oh joy . . . NOT. Jack hates fireworks and shakes like a leaf. He scratches at the bedroom door to be let in, so that he feels safer in there (there's a little corner that he goes to for "protection", in his dog mind).

I have a lot to catch up on, just wanted to stop by and post my favorite moment in this heartbreaking World Cup so far..




Moments like this remind that I’m ok with my child’s obsession/almost-idolization of Ronaldo.

Pure sportsmanship and class. This is one of the greatest lessons that sports (or any competitive activity) can teach. I love that T got to see it in action, with his idol.

I will look into it. I have been raw vegan for 80% of my food right now.

Some can be adapted to raw easily. There's a seed cracker which I'm going to try that can most likely be dehydrated.

Thanks and yes it was yesterday. It was a pretty low key day. Brad was out of town so Kapono and I spent the day hanging out. There was just a little panic at the end of the day, I went to take my meds after dinner and I was out of one that I really need. Luckily I didn't eat a late dinner and Walgreens was open still!
