I want the rest of the story!!!

What happened to the children’s father??? World is full of people that stepped out on the people they are, were married too.

Why did grandparents raise them not not the Dad?? Kinda appears both parents were “gems” along with the “gem” brother. Judgement Day in obits 2 more to follow? ;) Thinking there is so much more to the story....of the gem lady was so guilty, what did the father do to easily walk away from his kids? Limited story kinda wreaks. Reminds me of current news. Blame the woman. Hang in there @catmom46 oy

That's very good. I also went to Target yesterday for laundry detergent, which I bought.

Along the way to the Tide aisle . . . :cautious: I saw some blue chips and jars of salsa -- into the cart. Went a bit further and saw Pepperidge Farm Milano cookies -- into the cart. Passed by the frozen aisle and saw Ben & Jerry's chunky monkey ice cream -- into the cart. Got up to register and saw Doritos at the check-out -- into the cart.

:joyfull: :hilarious:

OMG! I looked at all that food cooking on the grill/smoker and all I could think of was my small, Weber grill that might hold up to 6 pieces of chicken only! :p Then, I saw all the photos of the rellies and all the long tables in that big function room. Is your dad's side of the family, the entire state of Texas?

Hahaaa...!!!!! :hilarious:
No, it's actualy not even a big portion of the town, although there is a street in town that has our family name...! :)
There are indeed a lot of us though, but, we're kinda' al spread out across, yes, mostly, Texas..!!! ;)

As I've posted before, I fractured the knuckle on my left hand ring finger when I was about 11, swinging at an inside pitch. It was the first knuckle right at my hand. Wasn't even a full break, and they put a small plaster cast on me just past my wrist.
When I split my calcaneus bone on the end of a diving board when I was 13 they put me in a plaster cast from my toes all the way up my entire leg.
Guess they're just tryin' to err on the safe side and make sure it's fixed right the first time, maybe...?
I guess. I think maybe because the bone wasn't aligned correctly and they had to reset it, maybe they wanted to make extra sure it wasn't going anywhere? We'll all be glad when he gets this cast off next week though!!! He'll finally be able to dress himself again. Last night, he says "You know what sucks? I have to wait until one of you is awake before I can get dressed!" (He's generally an early riser)

Poor Jasmine...not a fan of fireworks. They're doing the annual ones near us. Her eyes are all wide.

A few have gone off in my area as well -- I'm sure the fools are testing their stash, with the BIG night coming up. Oh joy, oh joy . . . NOT. :banghead: Jack hates fireworks and shakes like a leaf. He scratches at the bedroom door to be let in, so that he feels safer in there (there's a little corner that he goes to for "protection", in his dog mind).
