Cesar, glad to hear that your trip to Houston is going well for you. (Feel free to send us pix of Houston--I've never been there.) :)

As many years as I've lived in Texas, I've never actually been in downtown Houston. :cyclops:
Although we did drive by it on the freeway on our way to and from Galveston for our December cruise, and that one other time on our road trip to and from NOLA for youngest DDs 21st birthday. Been within the city limits many times, but, always in the burbs...Same with Dallas. Now, San Antonio is a different story...The Alamo is downtown, as well as the River Walk, so have been there many, many times...!!! :)

He's healing well, thanks. One more week of the real cast and then he has 2 weeks of a brace that he can take off at night. What I don't understand is that he broke his WRIST, and they gave him a full cast up past his elbow...it makes no sense. But....only one more week!!

As I've posted before, I fractured the knuckle on my left hand ring finger when I was about 11, swinging at an inside pitch. It was the first knuckle right at my hand. Wasn't even a full break, and they put a small plaster cast on me just past my wrist.
When I split my calcaneus bone on the end of a diving board when I was 13 they put me in a plaster cast from my toes all the way up my entire leg.
Guess they're just tryin' to err on the safe side and make sure it's fixed right the first time, maybe...?

So, all the way back in 2000, this little play ran for an extended, sold out run off-Broadway. Now it is getting a revival in London, opening November 24 and playing through December 9! (edit - the below poster is from the original production, not the upcoming revival.) If anyone is in London this November or December and wants to see it, let me know,. I might have access to comps.

Wow quite an accomplishment for a kid in middle school.

Do you know how many times I have watched that movie? "Hey, someone put some pants on that kid". When we got home from the kids' gymnastics show we saw it was on Bravo. The kids started watching it with us. I had no idea that Bravo did not censor swear words. Dh started talking real loud when Robbie started singing the song he wrote.:hilarious:

Hahaaa...!!!!! :hilarious:
I didn't remember that about Bravo either. :cyclops:
And yea, Robbie's song, although rather expletive-laden in some places ;), is awesome!!!!! :joyfull:
Even better than "Love Stinks" by The J. Geils Band...!!!!! :hilarious:;):)

You were smart, anything more downtown than the Sam Houston's tollway, is usually to the seams in traffic.

Cesar, how is everything down there in Mexico today? Any aftershocks from the earthquake?
Nothing so hard. The only worrysome part is, the quake was VERY CLOSE to where the big 7.8 hit us in 1995

Infact, the quake was upgraded to 8.0 I did not know..

*edit*
Here is the Mexican Seismology Center information.. there were a ton of very small afterchocks, but nothing that could be felt over here.
