Somebody turned the A/C on here last night I thought I was going to freeze to death

Freezing sounds so refreshing--perfect sleeping weather!!

I prefer to think of you as unwell. The only explanation for using the W word this time of year is evil or severe problems.

Winter is the most beautiful season of the year. Here ya go, Figgy -- you don't even have to wait until the end of this year for this splendid occasion --

Actually, hubs had steak tips the other night at the restaurant, and brought home 2 for Jack. So we decided to "stretch" them out a bit, and we cut each in half -- and he gets a half each day--big treat--critter doesn't even realize he's only getting half a tip each day!!

Sadly, all the area infront of Mexico is very active, there is a big quake every 10 years so sadly.. will not be the end of it :O

I had just seen some news about Mexico's elections being today, and was concerned about the quake issue. Not good timing for this.

Funny how many of these "60's" colors have been making a comeback on many factory vehicles in recent years...as "they" say, what's old is new again...!!!

That is an amazing color.

Looks like another great family gathering! Your family is HUGE!

Indeed!!!
But, if I had to make an estimate, I would say only about 1/3rd of the total family was there (and, it may have been more like 1/4, as I was thinking of how many familiar faces I didn't see), as the family is so spread out now.
Bittersweet, as time marches on...!

It does, indeed.
It was drilled only about 6-7 years ago.
They will also, eventually, drill on another back portion of the 250 acre farm. The rest of the farmland is leased and farmed by one of the farmer neighbors, and a longtime family friend.
And, there is also a producing well on a second piece of farmland that my moms side of the family dosen't own anymore, but, had the good sense to keep the mineral rights to when they sold it.
My folks are no Ewings, but, it's not chump change either.
