Same!! I got an email to Check for school closings.. we’re supposed to get 4+ inches tonight. It’s baseball and spring soccer season.. NOT WINTER!!

But I chose to leave there and move here. What kind of crazy person does such a thing?!

Seriously.. I wouldn’t even go to Orlando in the winter for 2 decades.. not north of Jupiter.. now I’ve shattered that rule.lol. Oh I’m so dumb.
To be fair, I did go north one week per year to see snow.. then hightailed it back to the warmth.

There still is construction atCosmic Rays. I didn't really look at the menu though, hubs did mobile ordering and I knew I wanted nuggets.

Cosmic is just getting crazy big. In December, off season they put tables and chairs in the exit/entrance to Cosmic on both sides. It is odd they keep adding onto this one when they have several QS venues completely empty and not used or only a few weeks a year in the MK.

The problem isn't with the Venues themselves over the years it is the food they choose to serve at those venues a few times a year.

Me<----get a real Chef to design a better menu and appealing foods and it will take some pressure off of Cosmic, Pecos and BOG. I actually like Diamond Horseshoe's venue, the food when open...well not so much.

I really should start taking vacations in February/ early March rather than November. I’m just so sick of cold weather. Let’s all run south tomorrow.

One of the reasons we were happy to give up Spring Soccer. Games started over a month before Baseball games did and we still froze at some baseball games in May and felt like having heat stroke in June. Heck, even night swim meets at times had my kids in their BIG huge Swimteam Deck Parkas during our outdoor meets.

Our tile finally gave way tonight, and water started leaking into the downstairs bath. So i guess we need to replace our whole bath/tile in short order. Booo.

The Mom...its too hot. On Saturday she was complaining it was too cold to go out, she lives up here in N. IL as do I.

I'm sorry. We needed to do that to one of our baths. I was excited 'cause it had to happen. Moment of happiness when a sledge hammer hit the avocado green tile that surrounded that bathroom. At the same time we gutted the powder room directly below. It was Red and White Ice Cream Parlor decor. But it wasn't in the plans for that year but became the plan. It took me several years to mentally regroup and redo the master bath. I think Bath remodels are harder than Kitchen remodels.

All of Tomorrowland will be white? What about the Purple Wall? What was the point of their Purple Wall baseball cap then? Or will that wall be spared?

The Purple Wall will be partially spared for photo OPs. And yes it is my understanding that all of Tomorrowland will be painted White. The stand with with the Claw is going to bite the dust too, those little alien guys looked so cute from the People Mover ontop of their Stand roof.

My guess is the people designing the remodel of Tomorrowland White had nothing to do with Disney Marketing jumping on the accidental Purple Wall windfall of revenue for Disney for the cost free Purple Wall. The love and bonding with the Purple Wall was fan generated not Disney imagineered. But Disney is sure profiting with it. Space looked awesome at night being color lit, the white made it pop. By Day it was just there. I always thought Tomorrowland looked better by night.

We kept thinking about him and others we know there. A women my son grew up with teaches in an Austin Elementary School and we have a few other friends that moved there years ago because Austin seems to be ever expanding, so they are all on our minds. Have to imagine everyone is on edge.

Both of my baths are all set to go.. all but the small matter of the flooring in each.lol. I keep going back and forth. I want this started soon so I have to just make a decision and go with it.

Yes, I did add Claires to my list. Never bought much in there, but one thing I did like was that they seemed to have items that are hard to find--case in point--they had these little rubber inserts that you could put on a ring. It would secure the ring, if the ring was too large for your finger. Haven't a clue where to buy those anymore if Claires will be gone.

Never even ate there I am usually on the other side for lunch. Colombia Harbour House is my place to go. Although I swear the prices jumped up.

CHH is a go to of ours as is BOG for lunch. Pecos is hit or miss, you wait way too long for food there though, anything but
'quick service.' This week they took off the avocado for their Fajita platter.
