Let me tell you about my Saturday night. Got a phone call on the house phone came up POLICE with a far south area code. Figured it was a scam call, so didn't rush to answer. It was an officer wanting to ask my DH a few questions. Which was weird. A town, in IL, but he had never been there. DH called the station directly, and he is now a star witness. The police were called on a domestic violence case, and they asked the guy for his license. He gave them a license, with his picture, but all of DH's info. We knew his identity had been stolen, and that they also had his social security number. Always figured it had been part of a bigger thing. Not some guy 50 miles or so south of us. Had some credit cards, too. Since DH has a credit freeze, not sure how the guy managed to get them.

Officer sent an email with the fake ID yesterday to DH. Um, yeah, not even close to looking like DH.

That is scary.

Interesting! Thank you! We may have to check that out next trip. We will probably skip next year. B thinks it will be awful when SW first opens. We haven’t skipped a year since 1997!
Definitely going to check out Uni next trip! You and @Mr Ferret 88 will have to help convince DH! 😁
That is what I have been thinking. It is sad really. I am considering Uni myself. Cabana Bay prices are pretty reasonable. Do Disney maybe for just 1 or 2 days, or do a cruise. Depends how long my anger lasts. Also if they keep offering lousy room discounts, we won't be staying on property. The offsite or good neighbor hotels are very reasonable. We always just wanted to feel immersed. You mess too much with the pocket book though, and the love starts to fade.:cautious:

Nope--the boss might grant one day off, but not two! Left very early this AM and it wasn't too bad--90 minutes to get in. (Last storm, it was 2 hours.)

But don't worry about me--worry about my hubs. Granted, he's a guy, and sometimes guys do crazy stuff. ;)

I called him from work around 11:00 this morning. He was finishing up a call to his friend on his cell phone, when he picked up my call on the (portable) house phone (sometimes he carries around the portable with him as well). Jack was barking his brains out in the background. So he's talking to his friend, me, and the dog is barking. :cautious:

Me: "Why is Jack barking?"
Hubs: "Oh he's mad because I crawled out his favorite staring window, and then he jumped out after me, so I had to push him back inside."
Me: "What the heck?!" o_O
Hubs: "Wait a minute, I'm sliding . . . "
Me: "What do you mean you're sliding--are you out on the slippery roof in the snow--all ALONE?!" :jawdrop:
Hubs: "Well, not really--Jim is on the other line, and you're on this line, and Jack is here.":facepalm::facepalm:
Me: "Please come inside--I don't care if the roof gets shovelled! Call the landlord instead!" :banghead:
You married a stuntman? ;)

Oh dear! That is awful. Hopefully things get straightened out. We have Life Lock for us and the kids.
