Autism. ;)
Seriously, you use it, you get what you need.
Autism...now that seems so obvious. Why didn't I get that? I will have to remember it...I don't want to play the Autism card unless it's a last resort though. But if I'm desperate, I will certainly do what I need to do to get what he needs!!
Here I was thinking "What's Disney's word for Management CMs....does it start with an A?" DUH.

Before going into your first park your first stop should be guest services. Get the card(info on band). You may find you don't need it but a CM can't always do much unless the info is added

Nope, no kinda' cute little post can cover this. The same member here does this time and time and time again. It's just so condescending and rude. And, I suggest you go back and revisit the definition of sanctimonious...pretty sure that's comin' from the holyer-than-thou,know-it-all side of this equation. One recent example is I just simply asked another member what her goals were for her son being involved in so many sports all at the same time. The member I wasn't even addressing went off on me like I had poked her with a cattle prod...the mother I was addressing answered my post in a calm and detailed manner that I completely understood. That's what adults do. Not have some kinda' hissy because of your kneejerk perception of what your waiting to pounce on.
It's so funny how most of the rest of us in this thread just just wanna' hang out, and be silly about most of our crazy lives, and you just wanna' rag, because you know all and the rest of us are just imps...at least, in your mind.
And yes, I will say that with no No apologies at all websites I've ever known you on 'cause that's just the way you are...!!!!!!!!!!!
Ok...but let me just point out that I just tried to calm the situation down and now YOU are attacking ME. So, obviously, this isn't about one particular member constantly being on the defensive. I can name a couple of people who have done the exact same thing, taking offense at MY posts that weren't at all directed at them or meant in the way they were taken. We all have our moments, and actually, I didn't see Gabe's reaction to your asking about the sports as "going off on you like you poked her with a cattle prod". And considering that there were people who actually asked to what you were referring when you got upset, I don't think other people took it that way either. Is it possible that that's one of those moments where you are the one who read more into a post than she meant? You obviously have a history, having been on here a lot longer than I, and I don't want to get in the middle of it, so please keep your personal feelings about other members to yourself. And sitting here posting insulting remarks about another member as though she couldn't read all the mean things you are saying is not productive, and it's cyber bullying. You can disagree with people without calling them names and attacking their character. I've had enough of bullying in my private life, I'm not going to stand for it here. You have a problem with a particular member, take it up with that member. Don't subect the rest of us to the arguments and name-calling. The mom's comments last week were for EVERYONE, not just the people you disagree with.
And with that, I'm going to take my own advice and apologize to the rest of you for losing my temper and subjecting you to that outburst. I felt like I was witnessing a public execution and I couldn't stand by and say nothing. But now let's get on with the fun, shall we?

I may not be an expert in "air ducts' but their way they are installed is extremely similar to energy cables and network cables. (the ceiling support beams and "tracks")

*edit*

this photo shows EXACTLY how the retention cables failed.. One of each side failed and ruptured from the ceiling. Causing the duct to break in its weakest spot and fall.

Winner winner, chicken dinner! :geek:

We went to visit my Dad for a little bit today, he lives about an hour and a half north of WDW. It was a nice visit and we got to drive through this beautiful gate with hardly any other cars around. We had dinner at the Biergarten and then went to the Studios for the Star Wars fireworks. Sorry the Biergarten food pictures are on my other camera not my phone.

Ok. What are you feeding him? He is almost as tall as my 10 year old dd.;)

He’s not even the tallest in his class.. definitely on the taller side, but one of his friends is 5 inches taller than T.lol

Nope, but I did look at booking a cruise out of Montgomery.

T is really into the “Goosebumps” books right now, do you remember those?

Even if he’s not choosing Goosebumps, he’s picking something with ghosts or mystery.. he recently read a book called “Zombies in New Orleans” (I think that’s the correct title). A class went to NOLA.. learned about Hurricane Katrina, visited the French Quarter etc.. and solved a mystery. Anyway, since then he keeps asking to look up stuff about New Orleans, the hurricane rebuilding, and the food.. he’d like to visit. The NCL Breakaway leaves out of NO in November.. thought it might be better to switch our Southern (on a small ship) to NOLA and a big ship.

I haven’t been there in over 15 years..and never during the Christmas season. I can’t find a solid date of when all the decorations go up.

Nope, you inserted yourself and I responded. I did not "attack" or "cyber bully" anyone, and to suggest so is ridiculous. If you don't want to be part of it...steer clear, as I do in the vast majority of posts I disagree with, or subjects I just don't want to get involved in around here. I always want to play nice, but, certain members always want to take it to a level that it doesn't need to go to, and some of us can only take so much before we finally just feel the need to react. The passive-aggressive attacks are actually the real cyber bullying. Sanctimonious, passive-aggressive, thinly-veiled crap.
And, I'm not apologizing for my opinion on any of that!
Have a nice day...!!!
