I haven't mentioned yet that the particular meds. they were sending me were controlled medications, so I have to be here to sign for it. Anyway, I then was able to sign on to their Website for tracking. It showed that I wasn't there at the time and deliver was slated for the next day. Tuesday I stayed home all day, no delivery happened. Later I checked the site again and it stated that the deliver date was rescheduled for the next day. Once again I stayed home all day. Wanna guess what happened? Right, no delivery but this time I had to watch as a UPS truck passed right by my apartment.

It is rescheduled for today and in about an hour I have to make my way to Durham for a PT appointment. Anyone want to place a bet on when they are going to show up? Now at least I know what UPS stands for Unbelievably Poor Service! Sure glad I didn't need this medicine to keep my heart beating. Pain apparently isn't important to UPS.

Ugh, what a nightmare. I hope you get your meds and the pain goes away soon.

DD was disappointed because this was the biggest size they had...my niece is 4 and this is supposed to be for 5 years, though it looks like it might run a bit small. But DD wished they made it in her size.

Hope you had time to run out and load up on bread and milk. Just as long as it bypasses this part of North Carolina. Back home in Vermont, that amount of snow had another name. We called early summer.

Mice...we have tons of those too, but they're cute little field mice (think Jerry from Tom & Jerry), so they don't phase me.

Noel nut ball cookies (a Martha Stewart's recipe), and ritz cracker "cookies" (they are filled with peanut butter and covered in chocolate. I remember now why I hate dipping things in chocolate, I'm not good at it and they look a little weird but they taste good. I also made some cheddar cheese tartlets that we eat on Christmas Eve, so I make them ahead and freeze them up. No pictures of those right now.
