I saw this story earlier in passing, that is pretty weird. I'm not a skittles fan, but if those were M&M's this story would be more of a tragedy!

I'm a fan of both, so either one is tragic.

Hubby and I went to see the movie Hidden Figures this evening, it was fantastic! A very inspirational story! I'm thinking I'm going to check out the book this was based on.

Glad y'all enjoyed it! One I want to see, too, since I've been interested in flight and the space program since I can remember.
I know I've mentioned this before, but, I'm sure it, at least partially, stems from my pop having worked at the Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville Alabama for a short stint in the mid-late 60's before IBM hired him and we moved to San Jose, CA.
Although, I've always had a general interest in science and how things work anyway.
The movie does, indeed, look very inspirational...!

I remember there is a program where they assign puppy friends to cheetahs so they get a friendly companion.. Cheetahs are very neurotic cats and get scared of a lot of things.

Good morning my dh is doing much better as am I. I'm planning on taking advantage of day 2 of really nice weather for this time of year. Windows will even get open for a short while later

Yes, that is true. Actually, they've been using dog companions for cheetahs for 30 years now. It's a very effective program for young cheetahs that have been abandoned by the mother (or if something happened to the mother). The male cheetahs, in particular, are social animals; and they relate well to the dogs with gentle personalities. The dogs have a calming influence on them.
