My friend had one of those before he started St Bernard rescues what a big baby named Cookie Another rescue found on the street. First up was a visit to the family vet who said it was a lab mix and would get about the size of a lab. My friend said he though it would be a bit bigger due to the size of the paws, vet said not to worry

Yeah...I've seen some vets make some pretty bad calls. Sharpest vets I've encountered seem to be those out in rural areas.

For those planning to see Star Wars fireworks:

Get there at least 15 minutes early. Street fills quickly. If it's a crowded day, get there even earlier.

Try to get as close to the Chinese theater as possible. The trees will block your view if you are too far back.

The fireworks are shot off to the right side, so for optimal viewing, head toward the left. Center is also good. Don't go too far to the right.

Shhhhhh....The Disney Chainsaw gang is going to hear you and make wood chips out of those trees to.

Could be, but, I'm pretty sure that guy is regular-ish size, and that dog is just darn big.

Good morning! I've got my dh home again he wasn't good after lunch yesterday so he called in ahead for today. One good thing about his job is they don't want you at work with germs

Yep, same here. They would rather move the deadlines back, than have the whole office exposed to some sick carp. If you are sick, stay your beeeeehind home...!

I saw this story earlier in passing, that is pretty weird. I'm not a skittles fan, but if those were M&M's this story would be more of a tragedy!

I had to go to M&M Mars as part of my old job, guess what I always left with a car full of?

Hubby and I went to see the movie Hidden Figures this evening, it was fantastic! A very inspirational story! I'm thinking I'm going to check out the book this was based on.

I'm going to wait for the DVD to see it, but I have the book on wait list at my library. I like to read the book before seeing the movie when I can. The exception being the Harry Potter series. I saw the movies first and in a way I'm glad I did Sometimes life just works out happy.

I know the vet in question and I think it was more along the lines of once he loves him he'll have a good home for life and he was afraid the dog would wind up in the pound. The dog was dumped out in front of my friend's house and went straight to the vet. Didn't get the plate but did report what happened to the police.

That's the difference between long term and short term productivity. If everybody gets sick and has to report nothing can get done.

Good morning. My dh seemed a bit better tonight so I'll leave one kid home and take the other errand running today. I need one to help me shop because after 2 very uncomfortable nights one of my shoulders hurts (OUCH) I'm going to put my foot down and reclaim the bed tonight after my dh disinfects the room! At least I got caught up on 2 things I wanted to watch, Last Man on The Moon and Race to Space.

No, they are completely opposite..

Left facing park entrance is right facing the chinese theater.

Then I must be thinking something different. It seems to me that when you walk through the park entrance you look straight down the street to the front of the theater.

Correct.
So if you stand to your left facing the theatre you will be by no.5 or 4
If you stand to your left facing the entrance you will be by 6 or the fp+ section

It's been a wicked warm winter....at least here in New England. A lot of people like it but it's global warming coming at you.
