Weather actually cleared up and stayed that way. We had hot dogs, sausages, and burgers at mom and pops. Standard fare, so no pics.
But, some fun was had with the old '53 Ford F-350 that used to be my grandfathers (moms side) that my folks now own. It got washed and cleaned, and we drove it around some...! :)

Vidalia? Those sound advanced. I'd better stick with scallions. At least I know what those are! :D

I'll take a half inch Vidalia slice, put her on the grill, so sweet and yummy. One of the surveyors I used to subcontract to work for me out of Savannah, the home of the Vidalia use to send me a entire box each spring. I was in heaven.

I know! Myself, DWifey, and kiddos are loving it!!!!! :joyfull:
Please do something with the other pic, @Cesar R M...!!! :)
Ill do once I get time.
I'm exhausted right now.
I expend 4 days transfering my NAS/Media server info to new hard disks, and then transferred most of my files to other disks, I finished a mere hour ago from wiping the remaining hard disks that I no longer need (I'm going to sell them cheap locally)

Good morning. Today's plan enjoy some peace and quiet for a couple of hours until the invasion. I've decided not to wear a pin lanyard and instead I'm making pouches for the pins that will fit on my crossbody bag.:joyfull: They'll be Disney themed of course and they'll will cover most of my plain black bag:joyfull: My dh is getting one with Wall E and my boys will get Mickey ones.:joyfull: They'll cost me next to nothing as I got almost everything on sale, used coupons and my dh was with me and we got an extra discount for his service for Memorial day. I hope to get started on those today:)

DejaVu I remember the day you brought home a rotisserie chicken and dove in with your fork while it was still in its container.

Yes! Delicious food must be devoured immediately. :hungry: Uncouth table manners rule (at home ;) ), and I'm amazed that I even used any utensils at all. :p

Reminds me a little of a 4th of July, blueberry pie-eating contest that my brother and I participated in, when we were kids. That was so much fun slamming our faces into pie! :D We had blueberry all over our faces (and I even had some in my hair). It was such a primal, euphoric experience!! :joyfull:

It's absolutely pouring rain outside . . . :( Hubby put air in my bike tires and I was all set to ride it this morning. but that's not going to happen.
Aww, what a bummer. We ended up getting some flooding yesterday, though my part of town was ok. Some parts of town had floating manhole covers. In the town where DH's cousins live, they had enough water to go wake boarding in the street. There's a video: http://www.rtlnieuws.nl/nederland/schade-zeker-10-miljoen-euro-door-noodweer-van-gisteren
10 million euros in damage. But today it's beautiful weather. It's in the 60s and dry.

Good morning! It is another beautiful day here. DD is out back. She and her bestie are having a tent over.
Good times!! We used to do that. My brother had one for his birthday one year. He and 3 friends...we made HUGE pizzas and the boys went out to the tent and our dog escaped...he was cocker spaniel and chihuahua mix, so he was small..about the size of a terrier. The boys came in to watch M.A.S.H. and had left a pizza in the tent for later. When they went back out, all that was left of the pizza was a 3 inch square...out of a 14 inch pizza. Dog showed back up and got in the chair and just started groaning...my mom looked at him and this dog that you could usually put your fingers around his middle had his little sides pooched out to twice his normal size. Guess we know where the dog escaped to!

Hmpf. But doesn't the flavor leave when you boil the meats? I don't shred so I guess I'm doing it wrong, again ( no surprise) for fine meats I do the Pulled Pork, Pulled Chicken thing.
That's why you boil it with the onion and garlic and bullion. Then it has more flavor. Plus, when you put it on the tostadas, you have the frijoles and such to give it some extra flavor.

not at all. You only boil the chicken with a piece of onion and salt until its done and then remove. The flavor should be strong enough to blend with lemon, salt, onion and the tostada. Besides, you can use the remains for chicken soup.
The kind my friend Cecilia taught me doesn't have lemon. She does frijoles, cheese, lettuce, chicken, onion and cream. I leave off the onion and cream because I don't like raw onion, and I'm not a fan of cream usually. But still, so much flavor!

I have a sick munchkin. I have to take him to the doctor in a bit when his sister gets out of school. Poor baby is miserable with stomach ache, neck pain, a high fever and a bad headache. Woke up at 5 this morning asking to take his temp because he didn't feel good. I gave him a paracetamol to combat the aches, and he promptly fell asleep and started talking in his sleep. Hope it's just the flu and he's better next week when he has his field trip with school to the amusement park in Germany. I'd hate for him to miss that!
