Perhaps you didn't see the post where I explained why I purposely chose not to use a military theme. Sorry if that offends you but that's the way it's going to be. I saw the "joke". Using a :cautious: face makes it more of a slam. Using the same "joke" again isn't funny, it's snide. I see your opinion of me, sorry you feel that way.
My apologies. The cautious tag I use to indicate sarcasm, since there isn't one for that. You do not offend me at all, and I'm sorry that's the way you took it.

Oh yes! When we finally book one, I'm determined to spend the time leading up to it losing as much weight as possible, 'cause I have a feeling food is gonna' be one of the main attractions for me...!!! :joyfull: :hungry: ;) :)

Because we are all close here in this thread, I will happily share the secret of cruise eating. I just completed a trans-Atlantic cruise. That 14 days on a ship that might as well been a giant refrigerator. I got home had lost 7 pounds from where I was when I left, so I know something about this topic. So if you are ready, I'll wait until you get a pen and paper to jot down notes :brb:. Okay, you should be ready... pay close attention:
Spend the previous two weeks just before the cruise on what is comparable to a death march all over Paris, Venice, Pompaii and Rome. Then spend the first few days on the cruise exploring Ports of Call in France, Italy and Spain. Simple and effective... you are welcome. :)

No I haven't. Being in between Cleveland and Pittsburgh I get Cedar Point and Kennywood commercials all the time.

@Gabe1 is quite correct. Most supermarkets have fresh herbs bundled, small plastic containers of fresh herbs and small tubes of herbs. All in the produce section:joyfull::joyfull::joyfull: You should have no problem finding chives this time of year. They also do well as a potted plant even for those with a black thumb:):):)
I like chives. It's one of those you can dry out if you don't get to use them all.

I'm assuming you mean there are a maximum number of days they are allowed to be absent per year? We don't have that here, just that if your kid isn't in school and not sick, you get a massive fine. It would be a pretty hard sell to convince them that both of our kids were magically sick at the same time, for 2 or 3 weeks. You can fudge it a bit when it's just a couple of days, but the amount of time we'd need to travel abroad, have a Disney vacation, and then deal with the jet lag after coming back..there's no way they'd not find out. Plus, how do you get your kids not to tell anyone they just spent a week at Disney? If the school finds out, and they are bound to, you'd be in huge huge trouble. It's all well and good if you live in the US where you can pop over on a flight in a couple of hours for a long weekend, but not feasible from here.
I get what you're saying. My daughter will miss possibly seven for the cruise. We can miss ten then you get a court summons at eleven.
