And I've officially got two more Disney vacations planned for this summer!
Walt Disney World in July from the 13th to the 17th, and then Disneyland (for the first time in 7 years) for the first two days of August.

I will just miss you at Disneyland. I am there July 24-29, I guess I'll get it warmed up for you.

Dinner is better than lunch

Good to hear they didn't mess up the Contempo's dinner. We were not a fan of their lunch either. I liked their Pot Roast and their Cajan Mahi was tasty. Their sandwiches were not so inspiring.

Love them but I'm not sure they would be quite comfy enough for walking around the parks all day

While at Uni and staying at the Portifino I received a real nice upgrade of room type upon check-in as they made some aggravating errors in my reservations for the school board convention. I had a lovely suite that was high and overlooked the bay. One morning as I was up early to head to the convention center in Orlando proper I looked out the window and there was a man still totally plastered trying to walk around the bay in his fishnet stockings and heels very similar to those I posted all the while not loosing his balance totally as he stumbled around holding his wig. My family had just started to wake and I had them get up to watch, a sight none of us forgot.

I just actually poured a glass of wine. The rest of the mess is about the same. My Dad had a major melt down over the weekend too so I've been kinda banging my head a lot lately. Upside they have have not moved him again. Went to Doc myself today and my blood pressure is up. I was surprised because my blood pressure only rose when I was prego with my son years ago. So I'm thinking I'm going to have to take your advice and schedule some Calgon time.

I'm a bit bummed Dinosaur will be closed during my trip. BTMRR is closing the second week I'll be there. What's with 2 E tickets closing during summer peak?

It sucks, but my experience is that at least one major attraction is usually closed during every trip. Soarin' was closed for us in January. Last trip to DL, BTMR was down for a lengthy refurb. Better that they take the attractions down and give them some TLC than let them fall into disrepair.

I'm keeping an eye on the DL refurbs. Hoping that since they've already taken down Fantasmic and the Railroad in preparation for the SWL expansion that nothing else is going down.

Lofty aspirations you have for your vlogs. I always have great intentions to update when down there. I've never been able to do what I intend. Either I am just too darn tired, too busy or the dang internet speed gets me. Hope you have better luck than me, can't wait to hear.

Agree. I can imagine a lot of hurt ankles and lots of wobbling.

Heels are an art form. I spend most of my days in my running shoes but I can still rock a pair of heels. It is like riding a bike, once you've mastered them you never forget. Still my feet appreciate my running shoes.

Sympathy like. Not surprised your blood pressure is up given everything you're going through.

Mine goes up when I'm having asthma symptoms; doc says it's normal if you're stressed or sick. It also will go up because I hate having my blood pressure taken. Last time I was at the doc's, it was high because the nurse took too long to take it. Doc took it 15 minutes later and it was fine. They have to surprise me when they take it; otherwise, I panic about it and it goes up.

Also, wine makes everything better.

I'm sorry. Dinosaur should have been taken down long ago, kinda the same thing they did with Splash a few years ago waited until they could not push it off any longer. IMO they should have fixed Dino before they dismantled the Studios. But maybe this gives a hint to Rivers????

I was afraid too. I got on a commuter plane it was a prop plane, and we flew through a thunderstorm. Lightning hit outside as I was watching. We dropped a lot. Scared me to death, as it was just me and my young daughter. She slept through the whole thing!

Yeah. Not getting on those small planes. Not happening.

I doubt it's going to be slow the first 2 weeks in August. The next trip will depend on how this one goes seeing there are so many cuts. The trip after this summer may or may not be just UNI seeing my dh and I already have APs. We were really thinking about upgrading to APs my dh hasn't been very sure about that lately

At least you can decide during your trip whether or not to upgrade to WDW APs. One option that hasn't disappeared.
