also, went with my mother to pick up her car.. the crash wasnt that bad.. but a lot of ruined paint.
I went to inspect the car and it still had imperfections. the manager agreed after checking.
So the car will stay one day more to refix the lingering issues.
My mother thanked me because she didn't noticed ANY issue (she has kinda bad eyesight)
Likely a buffet I think.I love pretty much any pork product. That looks good. Someone must have ordered extra bacon!![]()
More or less. There are still some items left that he has to pick up, which I put outside on the side of the house. Plus vinyl records that we need to split, and he still has my CDs. But I figure that can happen later, when hopefully things will be more settled.
The drama began with an incident on Sunday, though, because I heard him tell our daughter they were moving that day, which I wasn't too upset about, but then I asked him about the security cameras outside, if he was leaving them. That's when he said he wasn't moved out completely yet. So I told him then our daughter wasn't moving either. Unfortunately it turned rather ugly and our poor daughter was in tears, while he's recording me talking to her as she's sitting in his van with the door locked, so I couldn't even hug her good-bye. Then he mumbles something about just going over to his new place, seeing how things go and they left. Next thing I know he emails me and tells me she wants to stay there, so I say it's OK for one night only, but he responds he's keeping her all week and I'll get her for the weekend. I forward all the emails to my lawyer, who tells me yesterday that I needed to pick up my daughter early from school and keep her overnight, in order to establish the fact that I did not agree to his so-called parenting plan and show him that I will not put up with his carp. He said he normally would not advise doing this, but in this case he felt it was extremely important that I do so. Thus, yesterday was a horribly stressful day for me and my daughter, but in the end we had a temporary custody agreement in place until the court hearing in March.
But of course it didn't end there. Last night around 10:40pm Mr. Donkey texts me that since I took our daughter he would keep her until Saturday, which was NOT in the agreement (I'm supposed to have her starting Friday after school through Monday morning). So I had to forward all our texts to my lawyer, which included him saying he would enter the house without me, even though I told him I changed the locks. My lawyer threatened another ex parte notice unless Mr. Donkey was going to honor our agreement in good faith. It took a couple hours, but his lawyer said Mr. Donkey is not insisting on having our daughter on Friday and the agreement will be honored. At least for now until he does the next stupid thing.
So when's the party???
sorta, hopefully her car will be 100% fixed. You are a good son.![]()
Their sandwiches don't give me any problems like that, but, although, good enough, they're definitely not one of my favorites.
When I started back at the firm full-time, I noticed there was one just down the road, and I ordered from them a few times over the first few months (I had never had them before).
They were convenient, and the delivery was darn quick.
One of the first things I noticed was there always seemed to be so much lettuce, and not so much of everything else, especially meat (unless you wanted to pay for extra meat).
One day, just for grins, l ordered a sandwich with no lettuce. Talk sbout looking deflated.
I haven't ordered from them since, but, I ain't gonna' complain when it's free...!![]()
Oh boy is mr. donkey a piece of work. Thank goodness he texts you so you have all of it in writing that he can't deny. Too bad about your daughter getting caught in the middle. Is she handling it okay?
Thanks, back to normal today. Uhh, my kind of "normal"![]()
Good morning one and all. The wonderful weather people still have no clue on how much snow were getting! Somewhere between 6 and 20 inches. It looks like the amounts will drop off quickly but where is the question
Sorry to hear about all the drama in your life right now....sending good vibes your way. She's handling best she can, but I really think getting her into therapy will help, so she can talk to someone not personally involved and feel safe to be able to say whatever she wants, knowing that it can be confidential. But Mr. Donkey thinks her talking about the divorce will stress her out even more, which means needing to get a court order because he won't agree with the therapist that she should talk about the divorce.
But yes, on the plus side, lots of evidence demonstrating his unreasonable, controlling attitude/behavior!
Home from the office today.
Been having problems with my feet (and, since yesterday morning, my right knee) since Monday morning. Been limping and hobbling around all week. It kicked into overdrive last night, to the point that it is beyond painful just to hobble the few steps to the bathroom. Almost fell over when I got up in the middle of the night to head to said bathroom.
So darn painful just to move my feet and lift/bend my knee.
Best I can figure, it's an acute gout attack, but, I've never had one this severe and in so many different places all at the same time, before. Usually, it's only in one or the other of the ball/big toe of a foot.
Won't know for sure (hopefully) 'til I visit the doc at 12:15.
I don't need this carp right now.
But, always looking on the bright side, it is nice to have a lazy (if somewhat painful) day off in the middle of the week...!
