My Mom can't seem to cook for 2 either. Me I've gotten better at most dishes I cook. When both my kids were in college that was a difficult transition.

Tonight I made garlic pepper breaded pork chops. I cooked 8 cause they make amazing sandwiches left over. Didn't need a knife, they came out so tender you can cut with a fork. :hungry:
....all these delicious food descriptions...

No I haven't made them yet. I'm a few days behind you. I have a back up if we don't get BOG so I'm not too worried as we had both lunch and dinner there last trip. Beirgarten was a last minute no. Only one of my boys really wanted to eat there. Their qs is on his list for a meal. Me I'll go to either Japan or Morocco with his brother.
That reminds me I have to at least try Japan and Morocco the next trip.. o_O

The price of Le Cellier still scares me. :hilarious:

When do you get there again? It was the beginning of August wasn't it? Because I was thinking our trips overlap by several days. We check out on August 4th, but still have a few days after that in Orlando and with tickets. We might both be at BOG at the same time....who knows? Hope you get the ones you want. This will be my first experience making ADRs, so I'm a bit nervous and hoping all goes well. I did make an ADR 6 years ago for Akershus princess lunch, but I did that by phone, not online and that was before I understood how cut-throat making ADRs is. Plus that was the ONLY ADR we did. We mostly didn't eat in the parks. My kids were 2 and 4, and had never been to the states, and both were super picky. The only thing we got DS to eat the entire trip was McDonalds chicken nuggets and doritos. I have a picture of him covered in Dorito dust at an Akershus table, because he wouldn't even eat the pizza we ordered for him and we had a bag of Doritos in the backpack. Now that they are older, DS will actually eat pizza, chicken nuggets, and hotdogs and DD isn't picky anymore, so we can actually enjoy some Disney food. Wish me luck!!
I recommend to always have your dinner reservation code in your phone. Shouldnt be hard if you have your MyMagic application.
As sometimes they might lose your ADR from the system or get confused by your name.

This last trip, We had luck. all reservations appeared correctly.
And last year's February.. I didn't (My Ohana reservation was listed with a different variation of my name I think.. had to get my information up from the app. which caused me trouble because MyMagic was glitchy at that exact moment)

My mom's cat has never been in snow before. Yesterday it took a running leap off her porch landing in a big pile then looked at us like "what the heck is this stuff?" She had to be picked up and put in the house. I don't think she'll go back out until summer. :joyfull:
I just love these funny "nope nope" tales of pets.

Kinda interesting, because there are other pictures I've seen.. of dogs who REALLY love snow.. cats too..

ROFLOL! A friend of mine's master's thesis began with capital and ended with a period. I'm sure one or two words were spelled correctly. He walked around with a pocket spell check for many years!
a Phone dictionary check helps wonders too.

But yeah, I know the feeling. I still make a ton of mistakes when using H's G's and other variations in certain words (like tough, thought).
I think I already mentioned this before a year or so ago.. deja vu anyone?

Good morning @figmentfan423. I've been on for two minutes, and my computer locked up twice. I'm still having trouble with this sight.
the computer locked up? or just the browser?

We bought sweaters for our dogs and they loved them. Could take care of business in them too.

I misread this.. and I swear I imagined hotdogs with a sweater (with the whole bun and stuff..) :hilarious:

*edit*

We may have to see if we can get in standby. We didn't make many reservations, we never know what we are going to be doing on any given day. This is a totally go with the flow trip. And Disney has many good options!
Well, if you're visiting in low crowd days, I dont think you would need ADRs. Unless you're going to.. say.. BOG.
back in my 2013 trips.. most restaurants were walk on.
but this one.. on new years.. nope.. full to the seams with long waits for even ressies.
