Good morning I survived the great ADR summit of 2016. Seeing I found hours I thought let's try and get a final plan together. It was so funny 2 computers and a tablet for checking out menus and reviews. At least i was wearing Mickey jammies. I think we're all somewhat happy given the first rule was no more than one repeat from our last 2 trips and the second rule was at least 2 people wanted to eat there. I tried to make it as fair as I could. Here's the list I hope we didn't screw up too much LOL Mamma
1 Melrose Fantasmic package(cancel package portion of they add a second show)
2 BOG lunch
3 LTT lunch
4 Skipper's lunch or dinner
5 Kona Cafe lunch may do without the boys
6 Yak and Yeti
7 Whispering Canyon lunch
8 Tiffins ROL show if they're doing it by the time we get there
9 La Hacienda
10 9 Dragons
11 our last park day Garden Grill
12 Sanaa early dinner DTD day after we're done with the Disney parks
Somewhere we'll squeeze in T Rex and maybe Morrimotos I'm thinking T Rex on check in night and Morrimoto's on the other DTD day
You haven't been able to actually make the ADRs, though, right? I was very strategic in our plans. Because we have the ultimate tickets that allow us unlimited entry to the water parks as well as the 4 main ones, we're spending a day at each water park. And the day that we get there, I don't want to waste a ticket when we can't spend a full day. So I have a 1900 Park Fare dinner that day so we don't have to be IN the park. And then, because I can make all 10 days of ADRs from 180 days out, I put a BOG lunch on day 9 when not many people will have access to ADRs for that day yet, so I should be one of the first ones. And I put a Crystal palace breakfast on day 6 for the same reason. I tried to put the hardest to get ADRs in the 2nd half because I figure most people won't be staying so many days, so I'll have a jump on those and they will be the first ADRs I make as soon as the lines open. And I put resort restaurants on the days we're planning to go to water parks so we don't have to go into the parks if we don't want to. I can't wait for Sanaa and 'Ohana...they both look SOOOO good!!
So which one of these is the repeat? No Biergarten???

We have them on our diesel pick-up and on the tractor. The cars are in the garage, so we didn't install any. The problem becomes when you leave the house, there is no place to plug in. You have to make sure you have a good battery and charging system or you'll still get stranded, just not at home...
We never really had a problem during the day, just in the morning when we first started the car up, so we plugged in at night. But then, generally speaking, if we were not staying overnight at home, we were staying either with a friend where we could plug in or we were not in a place that was cold enough to require it.

Hello all.

Sorry for the lack of posts. Today, we had a bunch of people come in. Some of our friends moved to Jacksonville, so they are here and staying here (actually, across the hall from us amazingly enough). One of my best friend's parents are down here abd arrived today. Then, we got a call from two of our friends who live an hour away saying they were coming. So in total, there were twelve of us, although we broke off periodically. So it was a bit crazy today.

Spent the day at Epcot. Going to DHS yesterday was wise; we weren't quite sure what to do with ourselves at some points. Other than count heads.

Tomorrow, DHS (again) with just six of us. Thank goodness.

No worries. Vacations are meant to be enjoyed with loved ones. As you know I go completely off line on vacation.

I love almost all your picks. Good choices.

Question though-though you'll likely have a well calculated answer. Why LTT lunch???? If those boys have the love of all things food, why not the family style dinner were they can eat until they can eat not more???
Thank you and I do. LOL There is a veggie option at lunch I really want to try, my younger ds can't eat turkey and it's cheaper

No I haven't made them yet. I'm a few days behind you. I have a back up if we don't get BOG so I'm not too worried as we had both lunch and dinner there last trip. Beirgarten was a last minute no. Only one of my boys really wanted to eat there. Their qs is on his list for a meal. Me I'll go to either Japan or Morocco with his brother.

When do you get there again? It was the beginning of August wasn't it? Because I was thinking our trips overlap by several days. We check out on August 4th, but still have a few days after that in Orlando and with tickets. We might both be at BOG at the same time....who knows? Hope you get the ones you want. This will be my first experience making ADRs, so I'm a bit nervous and hoping all goes well. I did make an ADR 6 years ago for Akershus princess lunch, but I did that by phone, not online and that was before I understood how cut-throat making ADRs is. Plus that was the ONLY ADR we did. We mostly didn't eat in the parks. My kids were 2 and 4, and had never been to the states, and both were super picky. The only thing we got DS to eat the entire trip was McDonalds chicken nuggets and doritos. I have a picture of him covered in Dorito dust at an Akershus table, because he wouldn't even eat the pizza we ordered for him and we had a bag of Doritos in the backpack. Now that they are older, DS will actually eat pizza, chicken nuggets, and hotdogs and DD isn't picky anymore, so we can actually enjoy some Disney food. Wish me luck!!

^^^^ I'm doing the single digit dance, but not in a good way:bawling::coldfeet::coldfeet::coldfeet::coldfeet: 15 days until groundhog season
My mom's cat has never been in snow before. Yesterday it took a running leap off her porch landing in a big pile then looked at us like "what the heck is this stuff?" She had to be picked up and put in the house. I don't think she'll go back out until summer. :joyfull:

Maybe not even then. A friend of mine had an inside/ outside cat who never went out after it's first snow! Smart cat!
