Hubby just went to Kohl's to get my food processor, our 30 percent discount still applies. He must like my cooking, as he has been doing all the research. It's a Kitchen Aid! Thanks for bringing hubby into the 21 century. @figmentfan423 and @Gabe1

This has made me want a food processor too. Not so much for safety but for convienence. Chopping veggies is my least favourite part of cooking.

Sorry, but I gotta rant again. Now my soon-to-be-ex is blaming me for our DD being sick with a cold. Because I took her to the Queen Mary event "barely dressed", which is a lie because she was wearing 2 jackets, gloves, plus the event provided this huge jacket as well for the 9-degree area, which we were only in for maybe 10-15 minutes max. I even have video and picture to prove all the apparel she wore.

I just need to remember to breathe...

Don't engage. Don't respond. That's the best advice I can give. And it really works.

Uggghhh....another snow day for my kids. This is their 3rd snow day this year. The school district where they attend allows up to 5 snow days and we haven't even gotten into our heavy snow period yet.

Wish I could get a snow day. Come to think of it, all I would be doing is hearing my kids argue because they are bored, my wife telling them boredom is a choice that they should clean their rooms and I would be stuck shoveling.......maybe I will just enjoy my day here at work.

My Childhood, stopping a few times would have been in the morning alone. From the Chicago area it took us 4 days to reach Southern Florida. 4 freak'n days. On the way home we were blessed, Dad usually took only 3 going home.

My kids have never driven to Florida or very far anywhere. When my Sis got married in Cleveland we drove. My almost 2 year old son was also standing up in the wedding. All those hours strapped into a car seat was not pretty even with the new little car toys I bought to distract. We flew to Cleveland from that point forward.

How could it take that long from Chicago? It takes us only 3 nights from here and we only drive until dinner time.
