I work on puzzles all winter long. It's really relaxing for me.A Christmas puzzle sounds fantastic. I think I will get one for my family to work on this Saturday.

Hey, are you referring to me?Does the thickness adjuster mean it can be used by any idiot ?
I made a yule log cake, way back in the day. It was the most fun edible Christmas project.Christmas Eve is quite a bit of cooking!! 7 different fish dishes. Plus salad and 2 yule log cakes!
That's a whole lot of cooking. Yule log cakes can take a lot of time. The decorating is the fun part!Christmas Eve is quite a bit of cooking!! 7 different fish dishes. Plus salad and 2 yule log cakes!
@catmom46 I hope your daughter's school isn't involved in today's threat. Maybe it's just a student being stupid.
Yes you do and enjoy! Thanks! Her school isn't affected, so they're open as usual. Los Angeles Unified is a separate district from ours. I'm guessing the same that it's a prank, but you never know and I'm glad they're taking it seriously. Don't know what all the parents are going to do with their kids today, though!
Actually, I'm working a half-day and then going to my happy place today! I really need it right now...
I love your tree! I've always wanted to do a white one but my boys like colored blinking lights and different colored ornaments.Since everyone is getting in the Christmas spirit. Thought I would post our back yard with the snow. Our mantel, and Christmas tree.View attachment 123090 View attachment 123091 View attachment 123092 View attachment 123092

I did that kind of tree when DD was little, and it was fun. After she got married I went to a white tree and have stayed with that because too many colors stress me out. The mantel is in our kitchen area. So when I want to relax, I go to the living room.I love your tree! We can at least keep this thread spoiler-free.I liked Phantom Menace for what it's worth. I don't think there's any SW I don't like, even the Christmas special so many people didn't. I can't avoid the internet until I can see it though. Being released at Christmas time is not good for me. Now if it was May, like when it SHOULD have been released, I could get there opening weekend.
I've got one that I hardly ever use. It works great but the clean up most of the time is not worth it. What I have used it the most for is on the rare occasion when I make banana bread. Dump all the ingredients in the top, put on the cover and fire the old girl up. Works really slick and, for that, there is not much difference in the clean up if using the conventional way. Makes a real smooth batter and fluffs it up a bit as well. This has made me want a food processor too. Not so much for safety but for convienence. Chopping veggies is my least favourite part of cooking.
Mine can... do you want to borrow it?Does the thickness adjuster mean it can be used by any idiot ?
I think I figured it out the other day. I think it's the little guy from Huffington Post.
Goodness, is Colorado still in the early 20th century. I lived in Vermont for 50 years and I don't remember the power going off more then three or four times and one of those was during the massive ice storm in the late 90's. It seems like every time a snowflake drops there the power goes off.Good morning everyone. We got our snow last night. The power went out and I went to bed! It came back on before it got too cold in the house. We got somewhere around 8 to 12 inches....it's hard to tell, with all the blowing. Doing the fireplace thing, hot chocolate and puzzle. I'm so glad I love to do puzzles!
Even still. To see the piece that great hands touched.
