Do they work well? I like to slice vegetables and other things thin. It didn't occur to me that a food processor would do the job. A whole lot better then me.:rolleyes:

Yes. I highly recommend the Kitchenaid. It is easy to operate and you can set the thickness. I like potatoes thin, they don't get so starchy. I like vegetables for stews and soups chunky. It does it all. Plus KitchenAid comes in so many pretty colors.

The surgery fixed my hand. Doctor says at most all I should have is arthritis in that hand has I get older. So the thumb is fixed.

I will try not to sprain one or both ankles...

Hope that all worked out. As for the arthritis, see @betty rose and my posts about the proper amount of tequila to ease arthritis pain and file that away for a couple decades from now.

That would be well beyond anything that I could ever wrap my brain around. :jawdrop:
I know, but yet.. a lot of fans from here bought it If I remember correctly.

It wouldn't hold up anyway, you don't catch a cold by being cold. A cold is a virus. You could wear every article of clothing on the planet and if the virus gets through, you will have a cold. The whole thing is based on ignorance and with the right lawyer would be an argument for about 4 seconds or for as long as it took to actually say it.
Well, I've seen some really funny arguments of lawyers..

@StarWarsGirl95 With the Hollywood premiere tonight I'm sure there will be spoilers galore tomorrow.
Gods I hope not!...

but then, we will probably have a lot of dbags doing the "Snape kills Dumbledore" maneouver.

The hype isn't going to die for a loooooong time. :D No wait, the end of the hype will be far, far away........
My country isnt that bad.. I dont think my town would get closer to the fanboyism of big towns or the USA fan groups.

I got rear-ended over there a few months ago. And the guy left the scene. Ever since I started driving over there on a regular basis, I've been afraid that I would get into an accident, and it finally happened. I think the epicenter of bad drivers is Towson and it goes out from there. My friend referred to the traffic circle as "the circle of death" yesterday. :hilarious:

I've been over there twice now. My friends really like it. I still prefer going to the theater 15 minutes away for convenience. I haven't had the food at the Cinemark, but overall, it's a nice theater. The restaurants around the theater are supposed to be pretty good, though I've only been to BJs.

Try to get a spot on the third floor of the parking garage; you'll be able to walk straight in. And don't forget to validate your parking.
wouldn't be a good idea to get a dashcam?
So when you get hit, you can prove you were in the right and maybe catch the culprit's details.

Ugh. Snow.

It finally stopped raining tonight. Our River went over. Hope it pulls back before it gets below freezing. I saw worms and ants and one massively big spider right outside the door of the bank hanging down on his own string at eye level. Creepity. Doesn't he know it is Christmas and not Halloween?
are you sure they werent trying to withdraw money for christmas? ;)

So there 'are threads I read that I seldom post in. They are ones that keep me current but I am so far behind it kinda derails them if I chime in by the time I'd ketchup. So disappointed in one. Catty just doesn't seem to be descriptive enough. Content so derailed a great thread. Shaking my head thinking if it was a thread started on that topic alone it would have been deleted long ago. Don't usually see stuff like this on this site, other sites yeah. :(

When we lived in Indiana, we drove to Florida, I loved stopping a few times, at each of the little towns. They were so charming.

My Childhood, stopping a few times would have been in the morning alone. From the Chicago area it took us 4 days to reach Southern Florida. 4 freak'n days. On the way home we were blessed, Dad usually took only 3 going home.

My kids have never driven to Florida or very far anywhere. When my Sis got married in Cleveland we drove. My almost 2 year old son was also standing up in the wedding. All those hours strapped into a car seat was not pretty even with the new little car toys I bought to distract. We flew to Cleveland from that point forward.
