You have no idea. You guys know how I love to joke around. Well she has the driest sense of humor and is good at mimicking animals, she makes me laugh so hard.

Along with my usual silliness (as far as I know anyway ), I've always done accents. British, Italian, French, German, East Indian, etc., etc..
Our kiddos still try to (usually successfully ) coax me into doin' 'em...!

I would go for rare or blue rare when I ate meat. My favorite was to eat it only by adding salt and drinking black coffee. Those were the days.

I've read all the Hannah Swensen mysteries.
They have become very formulaic as of late. Not awful, just not as good as her earlier books.

You might enjoy M.C. Beaton's books - the Hamish McBeth series and the Agatha Raisin series.
The Agatha Raisins have also become very predictable and contrived, but the first 10 or so are excellent.

I agree, can't take the rare stuff. I did have some steak recently very rare, on a dare from my son in law. Actually, it wasn't bad...but my mind over ruled. And I don't want any more dare or not.

From an initial report I heard midday, the NTSB found the black box. According to what they shared, preliminary data indicated that the train was going twice the speed it should have (speed of the train was over 100 mph, versus the 50 mph, it should have been traveling at that section of the route). Oh brother . . . Again, this is preliminary, from what I heard today.

seems exactly what happened in Spain.
Anyone remembers when it was above 100Km/h in a corner designed for less than 50Km/h ?
the thing derailed horrible with carpload of deaths

The awful part? the driver was distracted with a phone call.. :/

Our library gets the oldest moldiest books around. I read and then donate, or read a couple times, then donate. I figure I enjoyed them, and the recipes, someone else might like them, if only for the recipes...and pass them on.

I'm amazed that they grow so much even in areas where they hardly take care of them.. (in this case.. the center area of a very transited avenue )

They look great to me. My flowers are very sad due to the heavy snow. Snow happens almost every year. So I'm going to outsmart the weather. It's pots for me.

I have these flowers too. I planted them once a couple decades ago way back on my property along side the garage where grass doesn't like to grow. They pop up everywhere, now even on the front of the property in the cracks of the paverbricks and between the evergreens. They come back every year even after the harshest of winters.

Well - I don't like Sweet Chile Thai - too spicy. I didn't like the whiskey whatever ones - too smoky weird. So that left salt & pepper and garlic butter parm.
And here's where I get really fussy ....
I only eat the flatties, not the drummies.
