They look great to me. My flowers are very sad due to the heavy snow. Snow happens almost every year. So I'm going to outsmart the weather. It's pots for me.

I have 3 tomato plants in the ground for a month now. I had to toss a couple of buckets over them a few night but they have gone from a few inches tall to one being almost 2 feet. They are in black pots that absorb the suns heat. It seems to be working.

Why Jennifer, why do you only have 4 wings?

Well - I don't like Sweet Chile Thai - too spicy. I didn't like the whiskey whatever ones - too smoky weird. So that left salt & pepper and garlic butter parm.
And here's where I get really fussy ....
I only eat the flatties, not the drummies.

With milk, of course. :hilarious:
We would do great eating wings together, I like the drummies best.

I'm glad you shared that when you were a child, watching Walt Disney and his shows, was so comforting to you. I can well understand how you looked up to him. He presented his shows with class and creativity. He was brilliant. I also like how you are loyal to his legacy, and speak up in support of your beliefs.

And, although "some" changes in the parks over the years haven't been pleasant at all (in my opinion), the one thing that I doubt will ever change too much, will be the solid foundation that Walt and his creative team developed for both DL and WDW. So even as Disney management changes over the years, and new ideas get introduced (both good and bad), I still don't think we'll see many drastic changes from his original concept.
His voice was very soothing to me also. My dad's voice, was like that. I can relate.

I'm with you, I'll do anything to get out of dishes. Think paper plates.:D
It's a vicious, never ending cycle. Hate them so much.

I've found ways of coping. For instance, I hate touching a sponge, so I got one that's on a stick. And since my brother is taller than me (like most people in this world...*sigh*) I have him unload the dishwasher. Unfortunately, dishes is the chore that my parents make me do, even during the semester. Only exception is when I don't eat with them because I'm working or if I'm absolutely swamped with homework. I would rather do most any other chore, vacuuming, bathrooms, mopping, dusting...but dishes are the devil. I think my parents agree and that's why I'm the one who has to do it.

But every now and then, I can trade chores with my mom. We do this especially if my brother has math homework that my mom doesn't know how to do (it's been longer since she's been in school).

I have these flowers too. I planted them once a couple decades ago way back on my property along side the garage where grass doesn't like to grow. They pop up everywhere, now even on the front of the property in the cracks of the paverbricks and between the evergreens. They come back every year even after the harshest of winters.
Do you know the name of those flowers, just what I need. With our winter's and all (mainly my neglect due to allergies)...sorry flowers.

From an initial report I heard midday, the NTSB found the black box. According to what they shared, preliminary data indicated that the train was going twice the speed it should have (speed of the train was over 100 mph, versus the 50 mph, it should have been traveling at that section of the route). Oh brother . . . :( Again, this is preliminary, from what I heard today.

"We" really need to fix our passenger rail system. The idea of Amtrak having to yield to all freight trains really messes with schedules that the engineers are pressed to keep on schedule. Over the 7 years my kids took Amtrak I could count on one hand the times the train was less than a couple hours late on a 3 hour ride. Multiple times pulled over while freighters wanted through and stopped to off load cars. It is frustrating to the passengers too. I'm not condoning the actions but I do understand the pressure to keep to the schedule. This keeps happening and yet "we" as a nation do not fix the rail system. Priorities Legislators.

Ha! You are hilarious! :hilarious: Actually, I have to share with you that my eldest brother has had that awful habit of leaning back into wooden chairs, all this life. My mother was always scolding him for it, but even as an adult, he never stopped doing it! (And yes, the dork has fallen backwards to the floor a few times! )

Pet peeve of my Moms too. I fixed that with my kids, we had L benches like these in the kitchen. No rock'n. I opted early on not to have a dining room table in my dining room/living room combo. I had a grand piano and a computer desk for the desktop. I could keep an eye on the kids on the computer back then or listen to my DD practice the piano. Now desk and piano are goners and my dining room is a dining room.

Downside was when they went in years ago my two golden retrievers took up residency. They'd often jockey for the window bench.

eeeeh.. nothing related honestly.
Infact, the pics of the flowers were of yesterday.

when wings and explosive diarrhoea weren't on the horizon.
I'm going to go back and figure out what's going on here. Apparently I missed something during my wifi outage.

ETA: Okay, all caught up. I somehow missed two separate groupings of posts. Probably from switching between iPad and iPhone all day.
