Whatever floats your boat. Coral Reef I just warn everyone about. Last time, the wait was long, the restaurant was noisy, and the food was not that great (plus, I don't like fish. The steak was okay, though).
And you know I've never had a boyfriend, so the concept of romance just escapes me. I get asked the questions on online quizzes about perfect dates, and I'm like, "Couldn't we just stay in, order a pizza and watch some Netflix?"

Cape May is nice and leisurely, though, plenty of time for talking. And they tend to leave you alone other than asking if you want a refill.
We might have been down there at the same time...I too was there for Katrina. Charlie was the other one we were there for. Charlie was definitely worse than Katrina; I don't recall Katrina doing too much.
Chefs is my favorite(although, even with my lack of knowledge about what is romantic, it's not romantic). I can see why your son wants to eat there. Sad because they took it off TIW and we haven't been in over a year (last time I went was with bestie). When I went with my Bestie, as teens, we sometimes got subpar service from waiters and waitresses who clearly did not want to be serving two teens. There were places that were great, like BOG, SciFi, and Teppan Edo, and there were places where the wait staff definitely had an attitude, like definitely Kona. Chefs was the definite exception. The service was excellent, the waitress probably the most friendly one the entire trip, and the entire wait staff was great. So I can see why your son wants to eat there. Great food + staff that doesn't mind waiting on young people = excellent.
We've liked Tutto the past few times. It was not great there for a while, but now it's gotten better.
Have not been to Ohana. Love Kona. Went twice in one day with Bestie. We went for breakfast, pulled a long MK day, and came back for dinner. Oddly enough, there was a staff member there for both meals. We recognized her and said, "Boy, you've been here a long time." Evidently, she started at 6 am, went to midnight, and then came back the next day (Sunday) and did the exact same thing.

We felt really bad for her. Learned an important lesson, though. Sometimes, when a CM is not smiling or looking the best, it's good to remember that while you are on vacation, they are not, and sometimes, their job just plain sucks. They're just trying to support themselves and/or their families.
