Y'all still celebrating? 🤣

Sorry, there's a former Oriole playing for Philly. When they're not in it, I cheer for the teams where our former players are.
Of course Mets fans are celebrating. They are in the post season, the O’s are not. 😅 Hoping for a Subway Series ! So you must have been a Yankee fan when the Bronx Bombers won another title in the late 1970s cheering on Mr October !

You have to admit that people being more concerned about Disney and shopping malls is odd
I could see why some are concerned about WDW. Theme parks especially WDW is the lifeline of biggest industry that fuels Orlando. This would impact many vacations, employment and the tremendous ripple effects of FL if WDW and other parks, hotels, dining in the tourist corridor sustained enough damage to not open post Milton.

It doesn't stop the city I live in from telling the local news station that they want a Christmas Tree.

One of my closest friends lives in Naples. She and her family are staying. I'm pretty concerned about her as close as she is to the coast.

Disney will be fine. They built everything to withstand these storms and the storm should weaken by the time it gets that far inland. I know we were there for Charlie years and years ago; there were Florida residents staying on Disney property because it was a safe location.

I understand the concern.

Friend of the family has a sister that lives in the path of Hurricane Milton and that friend of the family is concerned about her sister. The reason for the concern is that sister refused to go to Wisconsin and will be toughing out in apartment on the 2nd floor instead despite the hurricane experience in 2022.

Yeah, I'm pretty worried about her, but I'm checking in. If it were me, I would have evacuated. She also has a panic disorder, among other mental health issues, which is why I'm a little concerned with how she'll do as well, even if physically she's fine.
