Congrats on the grandson, BTW…!!! :)
Being a grandparent is AWESOME, and it’s just another reason why we’re staying put here, especially since our granddaughters home is within walking distance of ours, and there’s a neighborhood park and pool in between us…!!!!! :inlove::happy:
Thank you!! We are super excited.

Thank you for sharing your family with us in your posts!! Your family is awesome and your granddaughters are ADORABLE!!

You’re welcome, and enjoy the extra time with your grandson as much as you can, ‘cause, as we all know, time flies…!!! ;):)

Speaking of which…
Emmy turned 6 last Friday, and she wanted a penguin birthday party at a local park on Saturday, as she REALLY loved the penguins at the Cameron Park Zoo, on our trip there early last month…!!!!! :inlove::happy:

And, Matthew turned 32 on Monday, and wanted dinner at MOD Pizza…!!! :)

Has always cracked me up that the UT/OU game is always played in Dallas as a “neutral” location, as Dallas is about halfway between Austin and Norman.
The fans are split, literally, 50/50 in the stadium, so that makes it kinda’ interesting, and this rivalry has been around for about 120 years…!!! :)

For those of you, who unlike myself, didn't dedicate a whole year to the rewarding experience of flunking French in High School, I am going to now show the amazing extent of knowledge I have obtained from that glorious year. Derrière, pronounced the same as the above meme' means ones butt. My family was so proud of me! Especially my grandparents that had French as their native language. Their parents had wandered down to just below the border in Northern New York State from Québec, Canada.

Later on while visiting Paris while in college, I managed to learn a few more phrases but only enough to get my face slapped. 🤔
Dad took a year of Spanish. He refers to tortilla chips as "tortilia" chips if that tells you how much he learned. 🤣

Another football thing that perplexes me these days…
Players seem to expend way more energy celebrating a play they made rather than they do actually having made the play.
As former UT Longhorn football coach Darrell Royal used to say “Act like you’ve been there before, son.”

@donaldtoo , I randomly flipped through channels last night; and by luck, I happened upon the final day of the Barrett Jackson Auction -- but this time it was shown on the History Channel. (Can we please have some channel consistency?! ;) ) Just wanted to share the coolest vehicle on the block.

2015 Ferrari "LaFerrari" (out of 499 made, this vehicle was a custom one of one, built for Sammy Hager*), & the only one in this color and interior. A 949 combined HP between the electric and power coming out of the V12 Ferrari engine.

*Sammy Hagar, Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, decided at this point in his life (77 years old), the car was just too much for him, so it was bittersweet for him to auction it off.

The car sold for: $4.675 MILLION !!

Oh my, that price…!!!!!!! :eek:o_O:joyfull:;):)

I’ve always liked Sammy Hagar, and the funniest part about that is Hagar’s most popular song ever, arguably, is “I Can’t Drive 55”…!!!!! :hilarious:

That's actually a better deal as a custom car. The Ferrari dealer in Beverly Hills a few years ago was selling a red one ( standard color for Ferrari ) asking price $6M.
