I've lost interest in baseball, but there was a time when, at the time, I was one of about fourteen Met's fans. I still remember sitting in a rundown hotel in San Francisco waiting for my plane to Vietnam watching the final game of the World Series on about a 12 inch, black and white TV screen. I'm trying to remember who they beat, could it have been the Orioles? Yes, I think it was.
