Gotta say, I was blown away by the inventory in the auction today -- my goodness, some of those private collections . . . wow, just wow. I can't imagine how tomorrow could possible top today's show!!! :jawdrop:

O.k. Just two (out of so many!!) I had to mention here:

2020 McLarens Speedtail (#86 of only 106 built), 1,000 HP, Center Seat, (silver blue color) -- Currently $2,200,000 & bidding still goes on!
1963 Ferrari 400 (Superamerica Coupe, Aerodynamico), (blue), Currently $2,100,000 & bidding still goes on!

My friend has a Ferrari. Sadly, I have never seen it in person.

@Figgy1 , is this farm market Saturday morning for you? If so, you need to get out there while they're setting up, so that you can be sure to grab your cases of veggies before the sun comes up! :p

(Reminder to self: buy a tomato today for the salad tonight. Already have some lettucs.)
I'm heading out in a few as with the shorter days they're opening later starting this week. and yes, a tomato if by tomato you mean a bushel

It is currently 53° here. The bedroom window is wide open, the ceiling fan is on … and it is glorious!

Just got back from a 3 day fishing trip out of Oswego NY on lake Ontario with my 91 year old uncle and a buddy of mine. Flew up from SC on Monday and fished 3 days with a guy my uncle has known and fished with for 40 years who runs Fish Doctor charters. Caught king salmon, lake trout, brown trout and steelhead. My biggest salmon was 15 lbs and the weather was great left SC 90 degrees and humid--NY was 70's and no humidity.

Yep, it’s been another fun one, so far…!!! :geek::)
Loved everything you mentioned, as well.
The HEMI Challenger was indeed fine.
Haven’t seen a Pantera in years, and this is the first time I’ve ever seen one at one of these auctions.
Apparently, the Ferrari Dino is becoming pretty desirable these days.
The Bonneville was sweet.
And yes, the ‘59 El Camino is something to behold…!!! :)

Speaking of classics, @MinnieM123
I don’t know if you remember this, but the below truck was parked (it also ran after Pop had some work done on it) in my folks driveway for several years, until they sold it in 2016.
It’s a 1953 Ford F-350 Golden Anniversary model, that my grandfather on my Mom’s side bought brand new.
It also used to have the old wooden bed side rails, but, those are long gone.
Not nearly in perfect condition, but, it drove and still looked pretty cool, IMO…!!! :geek: :)

@MinnieM123 , I once went for a ride in a Ferrari 308 GTS (Magnum, P.I. car). It was owned by the father of a girl Megan went to school (and was also in Girl Scouts) with. He had the top off, and that was a fun ride…!!! :)
He bought it for only 12K, and it was in good shape.
Wonder how much that puppy might be worth these days…?!!! 🤔

And, there’s little more than an hour left in this auction…I’m sad… :( ;)
But, I also noticed there’s one comin’ up in Dallas from Sept. 20-23. Matt and I have talked about, maybe, drivin’ up to attend on that Saturday…we’ll see…!!! ;):)
