I'm sorry I forgot to post the menu: Corned beef (commercial, hangs head in shame), duchess potatoes, cabbage with sauteed onions, very lightly glazed roast carrots and soda bread from scratch

Speaking of corned beef, mine came out lousey -- kinda tough. I followed the directions on the packet -- simmer cooked for 2 1/2 hours, carved against the grain, etc. (Hubs powered through it . . . ) I dumped mine.

I think what she means is that the two boys don't need much space; but, she neglected to mention that you'd need a separate room to store all the food they eat!!

I'm didn't have cabbage or fancy carrots.

I'm had Reuben Sandwich and Regular potatoes from a can. Dessert is cupcakes with green frosting with Ande's Creme De Menthe baking chips inside the cupcakes.

i know my parents are having a cabbage and potato bake besides a Reuben Sandwich. My parents use a recipe from online since 2004.

I'm still stuck on getting potatoes from a can. Perhaps I've never looked but box I've seen but I haven't seen a can.
