On 95 about 20 plus miles into Georgia. Seeing loads of trucks from utility companies headed south. @93boomer is your dh going to be mobilized?
Will find out Sunday when we get home. We are in Atlanta until tomorrow. We are actually see more traffic from FL in Atlanta too. It’s crazy! It looks like it may hit the Carolina coast so more than likely he will go.

So, @21stamps is in Vegas, and that got me to thinkin’ 🤔 (I know, I shouldn’t do that 🤪)...
Anyhoo, would there be a trip report section on a Vegas fan forum...?
And, if so, wouldn’t that be breakin’ the Vegas golden rule...?...”What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas.”...!!!!! :cyclops::hilarious:;)

My trip was a whirlwind. Arrived, met friends., my bff flew from SoFla, and our other girlfriend lives in Vegas but we all stayed at the hotel together.

Thursday night was the Cirque show.. then having our photos taken with MJ impersonators.. there were so many!!!! I didn’t expect that. We also met Joe Vogel, an author/professor.. that was a neat experience.
The entire vibe of that night was something I can’t put into words.. so much positivity, friendliness from strangers, celebration.. just amazing.

Yesterday we hung out at the pool all day, relaxing, catching up, drinking. I loved seeing my friends and I loved that we had that experience together. It’s a whirlwind that I won’t forget!!

Interesting point, from the convenience aspect; and come to think of it, I only knew one guy who always carried his passport and used it for I.D. (This was over 25 years ago.) He flew international from time to time, and I guess he just kept his passport on him out of habit or whatever.

I think for some people, they're also just trying to avoid an extra fee (for the Real ID processing cost), if they already have a passport. I can understand that, too.
Passports are a lot more money then the Real ID. But, you only need Passports for international travel so if you aren't planning a trip out of the country there is no need to get one. I got my first Passport in 1967 when I went on a College trip to Europe. I got another one in 2015 when I went to Europe again. So far I have never needed it between those trips.

But if you need to get on a military base or in a government building you will need a real ID. Its required. That would include the smithsonian

I'm going to kill my father.

My dad suggested me and B coming down to WDW the weekend Rise of the Resistance opens. He said it within earshot of B. At first, he said no. Just walked in the room and B says to me, "Go to Disney in December?"

Me to my father: "I am going to kill you." As he laughs his head off. I'm never going to hear the end of it now.
Well, B brought it up again. I told him to go talk to Dad about paying for it.

Serves him right.
