He says thank you! That was sweet that you thought of him!@93boomer , you mentioned your hubs "might" be called up, to assist with electrical power to areas if the hurricane goes through. Well, I was just looking at a picture of bags of trail mix; and for some reason, I thought that might be a good snack for him to keep in the truck, when he's out on the road.
(I recall last time he was out on the road, you said they had to sometimes drive 1-2 hours to find a hotel away from a damaged zone, so they could sleep at night. And sometimes restaurants might also be closed, depending up on specific area he's in.) So goodness knows why I fixated on this photo of trail mix today, but maybe it might be a good snack idea!

You are correct... my dad is very not happy about this... I'm not sure he had a copy of his BC.

My folks have mine, as it is very old and frail...!!!!!

No clue about the ease.
All I know is I’ve been told that you’ll need a Real ID to fly after the date I posted. Which indicates to me that you’ll need Real
ID to fly domestic, and Real ID and a passport to fly international.
BTW...

I checked my DMV and it looks like I can still just use my passport for both domestic and international travel: https://realid.dmv.ca.gov/what-is-real-id-faq/
It says: "If you want to continue to use a U.S. passport, U.S. passport card, military ID, enhanced driver license, or other federally accepted identification to do those things, you do not need to get a REAL ID, however, it is recommended."
And if all I need to do to renew my passport is mail in paperwork, rather than hanging out at the DMV, I think I'll do that instead.

You should see mine. I have it and I can report that the stone tablet that it was chiseled on, is starting to get a little brittle. If it hadn't been for the Phoneticians there would be no record of it at all.Mine’s not an original, but, a new “original”.
