Thank you! Update on cafeteria line wars. I WON! I beat all the high school volleyball players to the grill line and got my kids French Toast in record time. I didn’t run either. I nonchalantly walked fast.

Well the excitement for GE East was short lived, open land with 85 minute wait this morning.

By the time we were boarding our flight at 950
AM GE was open to all. No virtual queue just walk on in. There was a FB live in shock. But Slinky was 120 minutes by then. Betting it won’t be the same on Saturday and Sunday

Well DH is in standby mode for Dorian. We have had Atl Braves tickets since February so we can at least go there tomorrow through Sunday as planned. He will check on Sunday to see if he has to pack and ship off somewhere.

I'm with a credit union, I'm not sure if they are under the same requirement. My bank also just changed names, so I'm guessing that they may finally add a chip when they give new cards out!

Went for an annual physical with the doctor this week. Said I'm in basically good health, but my cholesterol is up. Dang. Guess I have to cut back on my candy bar consumption!!

@93boomer , you mentioned your hubs "might" be called up, to assist with electrical power to areas if the hurricane goes through. Well, I was just looking at a picture of bags of trail mix; and for some reason, I thought that might be a good snack for him to keep in the truck, when he's out on the road.

(I recall last time he was out on the road, you said they had to sometimes drive 1-2 hours to find a hotel away from a damaged zone, so they could sleep at night. And sometimes restaurants might also be closed, depending up on specific area he's in.) So goodness knows why I fixated on this photo of trail mix today, but maybe it might be a good snack idea!

I still spent less on all of that with my AP discount than the cost of one Droid.

We could have used our AP discount too, but we had already bought other stuff and planned on buying stuff at the Expo so he had to decide what he really wanted. Of corse he picked the more expensive droid.
