Yep, if the A/C is blowin’ warm, and you’re steppin’ in puddles when you get up to use the restroom in the middle of the night, I’ll take an old room with the A/C that works properly...!!! ;)

Looks like we may just miss it on our “Worldwind” Tuesday trip...........? :cyclops:🤞

Turns out after just mentioning this nicely to the manager, they credited us back for a day.

It’s actually a lot more than the moderates! I talked to my sister about POFQ, but she thinks the transportation system will be worse, and she doesn’t want the smaller room.

I’m now trying to talk them into WL (which didn’t go so well when she threw in my face that I complained about the size of their rooms), and BWI. I still think WL will be the best choice if they really don’t want to spend the money on a monorail resort.. but at the same time, this is my parents’ last trip.. 20something years they stayed at monorail resorts.. they should be able to do it this time as well.

The thing is, this was supposed to be a grandparents/grandkids trip.. if she wants to go then they should stay where my parents would have stayed, imo. That said, I do empathize with the sticker shock, I wouldn’t pay the prices of where CR/Poly/GF are at right now, but if a discount comes out then they should switch.. in the meantime, switch to something with a pool slide and a full service restaurant and less walking.

Yea, I thought I had heard that was the case at AoA with the family suites. IIRC, the price for one back in June of '12 was a little over $200, without my 60% CM discount.
But, I just looked (I have not in a while), and I'm in shock, too...!!!!!
The Lowest rate I saw was actually for today at $348. Same date next year is showing $464, and the highest I saw was for New Years Day 2020 at $632...!!!!!!! o_O
NO. FRIGGIN'. WAY. :bored:

Gotta keep those profits up for show (even if WDW has technically zero growth in attendance ?)

Exactly! They’re going the week after Easter, rates are in the mid 4s.. absolute stupidity imo.

I signed up the first day of Expo. It is an amazing deal, but then again I always knew I would sign up but now with this deal I don’t think I’ll have to cancel Netflix, it should slide into the budget ok. I bet it will go on the Firestick. Do you have an iPhone? You could connect that to your tv and watch it that way.

Oh my. TV used to be so simple . . . :p
