The contemporary as a bus stop nearby?
Or are we talking about the monorail?

As for Wilderness Lodge. This is for the boat right?
Boardwalk.. I have not been there personally. Neither to the Yatch Club.
I always imagined that you had to walk A LOT fro the Swan an Dolphin. (all the way around the waterway). or the bus stop is closer?

The Contemporary has its own convenient bus area (no long walks). They also have (as you know) the monorail.

WL has the boat, but the buses are also easily acceptable. No long walks anywhere.

Boardwalk, Yacht, Swan and Dolphin all have their own boat docks. All are close to each hotel. Also, all have bus service that is convenient -- no long walks.

The only lengthy walk would be from EPCOT to as far as the Swan and Dolphin, due to the way they have arranged the walkway around the water -- it's about a 20-25 minute walk. I usually always take the boat when staying over there. (The walk from EPCOT over to the Yacht or Beach Club area is shorter.)

@StarWarsGirl you may want to look into getting 24 hours worth of food and beverages ordered from Prime to arrive Saturday
I'm monitoring. Last I looked it said it'll stay away until Monday, which would mean going home Sunday night (early). It's just hard to predict. The Florida residents on here have suggested waiting until we know more to make any decisions.

@ajrwdwgirl , you must be busy after returning from D23 and getting ready for the new school year. So whenever things eventually settle down, I'd love to hear your opinions of D23 -- and whatever else you and Brad enjoyed in the parks during your trip. :)

Yes things have been a little busy. I will be adding to my trip report soon. But in short Disneyland & California Adventure were awesome as usual and D23 was a fabulous time! A quick preview of highlights: Music of Aladdin panel, Art of Disney Storytelling panel, Little Mermaid 30th Anniversary panel, meeting up with some Disney friends, Disney Movie Rewards party at California Adventure, and just having fun with Brad.

Maybe just order some bottles of water? (And possibly bring a jar of peanut butter from home -- you can stick that in your suitcase, with some crackers. Just in case . . . ) That way, you don't have to think about ordering a bunch of groceries, etc. Just a thought only -- feel free to ignore.

Vegas tonight (flight at least)! MJ One here I come!!!

I’m so stoked!!!!!!
Have a great time! Just you?
It’s actually a lot more than the moderates! I talked to my sister about POFQ, but she thinks the transportation system will be worse, and she doesn’t want the smaller room.

I’m now trying to talk them into WL (which didn’t go so well when she threw in my face that I complained about the size of their rooms), and BWI. I still think WL will be the best choice if they really don’t want to spend the money on a monorail resort.. but at the same time, this is my parents’ last trip.. 20something years they stayed at monorail resorts.. they should be able to do it this time as well.

The thing is, this was supposed to be a grandparents/grandkids trip.. if she wants to go then they should stay where my parents would have stayed, imo. That said, I do empathize with the sticker shock, I wouldn’t pay the prices of where CR/Poly/GF are at right now, but if a discount comes out then they should switch.. in the meantime, switch to something with a pool slide and a full service restaurant and less walking.
I still would not be thrilled with this whole situation.
