So sorry you were treated that way. Too bad Comfort Suites is not like Hampton Inn. That company has a general policy that you must be satisfied with your stay or your stay is free.So we talked to the morning manager. She tried to act like it was our fault for leaving a do not disturb tag on the door??!! They couldn’t get in to look at it.
1. We have to leave that tag otherwise the maids come in and clean. They have come in before even with the sign on the door.
2. You could have left a message on our phone that you didn’t come in. She had 2 notes already that we had complained.
3. It doesn’t matter if it’s batteries, it wouldn’t go off three days at the same time!
4. She did not even apologize or offer comp. I had to bring it up. Then she said she would mention it to the general manager.
I have the email for Comfort Suites. We are writing! We are done with them. We will have to drive further to stay to visit DD but that’s ok. She only has one bedroom. That’s why we stay in a hotel.
I am a regular Hampton Inn customer and their quality is very dependable. Only once... one stay in southern NY state I complained about something and received a night free.
My colleague at school booked a Hampton Inn near Hershey Park. She knew it had an indoor pool. Her 6th grade daughter was looking forward to that. Yet when they arrived the pool was being worked on for maintenance issues. The next morning at check out she mentioned their disappointment re. not being able to use the pool. My colleague just expected some small discount off her bill. No...much better then that..Hampton Inn said if she was not 100% satisfied they would not charge her a penny. Free night!
