It's kind of an anti-theft thing. You'd certainly be able to pick it out if it was stolen, so people are less likely to steal one that stands out. I once saw one that was sprayed all over with this foam stuff, and painted yellow. SOOOOO ugly, but no one would ever dare steal it.
Well, that's fine if that's what works for your family. Has she ever expressed an interest in learning her mother's native language?I wish I could report to you that my daughter could speak her mom's original language as well as English....but that would not be truthful. My daughter speaks to her mom only in English. (Same with me)
How is it I am stuck doing both at my house, when I was born at 6 lbs even, and my DD was 9 lbs 4 oz, and DS was 8.5 lbs? And I'm the one with hay fever. So did I, but I don't do either one either.
Celebrating my birthday with these two! (And Brad).

I actually thought about saying that then thought better of it because I get wordy enough as it is. Besides left handers are usually on their own anyway and not really subject to consideration.Or if you are left handed, you can hold with your right hand and spin with your left.
The difference between me and my mom....
When Mom asks me to text my flight info, I take a screenshot in the app and send it.
When I ask Mom to send her flight info, she takes a picture of the piece of paper with the info on it (even though she has the apps on her phone) and sends it to me.
No. I've learned some key words myself. So if my wife is speaking in Bahasa Indonesian I have some context clues.Well, that's fine if that's what works for your family. Has she ever expressed an interest in learning her mother's native language?
I don't blame you....I'm embarrassed to admit I'm from the US.
You can't see it, but this lefty is sticking her tongue out at you.I actually thought about saying that then thought better of it because I get wordy enough as it is. Besides left handers are usually on their own anyway and not really subject of consideration.
I'm very proud. I still haven't gotten my father to do that. Even though the following has happened:I can relate to your mother.
Oh, you would have been proud of me the other day. I went to the bank and asked them to set me up for online account viewing. (Told them I didn't care about electronic payments, etc., -- I just wanted to glance at my account a few times a month.) So they set it up for me (that took a while as I misunderstood a few prompts ). I tried it today at home, and it worked. Just trying to figure out how to get a view of a previous month, as it only showed the present month's transactions. Don't want to go back there and ask how to do that -- too embarrassed.
I'm proud of certain things...like our veterans, etc. But I view pride kind of like respect...it's something that has to be earned, I'll be proud when we do something worth being proud of.And, I, on the other had, am very proud to be from the good ol’ United States of America, and freely admit so, and have been as far back as I can remember...!!!!!!!
I'm very proud. I still haven't gotten my father to do that. Even though the following has happened:
Mom overdrew her account because they didn't balance it correctly. She borrowed money from my account because they didn't do the free overdraft protection and they would have charged her $60 something.
Dad, every time they go on vacation, doesn't receive at least one credit card statement in time. Since I normally leave later than them he has me look for the statement and pay it. Meanwhile, while they're away, he has my mom text me to nag me and is nervous that I won't pay it.
And then for our winter Disney trip, since I was there the entire time, he didn't get a statement in time and wrote the address of the credit card company on an envelope and mailed in the check that way.
All of which would have been problems solved with the use of online banking and payment. But will he do it? Nope.
You can make payments online without making them automatic. Mine are automatic because, quite frankly, I'm a ditz, and I want it to be done for me, and because they're automatic, I have a very high credit score. But you can go in each month and pay it. Which is what I wish my dad would set up with his credit cards, but he won't. He has trust issues with computers. Which is ironic because he also gets mad if he has to change a password and it took me forever to get him to password protect his computer, and then he just left it unlocked all the time, and I finally got him to start locking it.Old habits die hard. Your dad isn't alone! Actually, the only reason I haven't used an online payment feature is because I like to be in charge of my account. The utilities here allow online payments, but you need to set up a specific date each month, for when they can automatically pull the money from your account. I just don't like giving them my account access, and also, I never know if something unexpected comes up -- and maybe I'd pay the utility the following week, instead of this agreed upon date every month.
But we're all different, and online banking works well for many others.

Congrats!
Its always feels wholesome to see you two smiling widely while at Disney.
