Yay! I love only good news. And “back to your normal” sounds great! How is Kylie doing?

She's great! We just went for a short walk about a half hour ago. Gotta get the minutes in on her "Whistle." (It's a thingy kind of like a fit bit for dogs. We got it for free as part of a pilot program run through Banfield Pet Hospital. It keeps track of her exercise, her rest, etc. You can upgrade to one that has a GPS locator. Anyway, she has a goal number of minutes to walk each day, so we wanted to get some minutes in before midnight!)

She is so smart (don't we all say that?) She knows if I put my red shorts on, we're going for a walk, and gets all excited. I have the exact same shorts in blue, and they don't get the same reaction.

Figuring what we can do with her in the Keys. An afternoon drive down to Key West is only maybe 45 minutes from Marathon. The last time we took her there was several years ago, and for a dog who literally hardly ever barks, she was barking at all the roosters!! It was a little embarrassing, we had to lay low LOL.

But the trip is mostly to just relax and not be in our own world.

Gotcha. I was a bit confused as well, but figured you aren't the type to get angry over nothing. I was a musician, not an athlete. 🙃
Yeah. And it got really annoying when one mom would go to a child that was not hers and tell them what team they would be on. I have no idea what she was thinking. It was a weird giddiness from her. I just didn’t get it. She was acting like she was on the team. It seemed quite juvenile.

I hope you will have great weather. I would love to take that drive again. The most amazing road in the world is the A1A. :inlove:

Wait... didn't I read someplace the dogs are color blind? Or is that an ancient declaration?

I remember being told that they only see black and white.
So I guess that means that dogs are clairvoyant (gasp)!! 🤔😉 Seriously though, my information might be very dated. My daughters dog will rush to the door if the words "walk" or "out" are even mentioned casually.

OK, the good news re: today’s eye doctor visit:

The gas bubble is down to 15%.

Eye drops reduced from 3x day to 2x.

Eye pressure went down from an alarming 32 to 12.

No more sleeping face down, just not on his back (which he is doing right now :banghead:.)

Reading the eye chart with that eye went very well. (The bubble was cooperating and staying out of the way.) He got down several lines, to the point I had to put my glasses on to read the last one.

There is still more recovering to do, but it looks like the surgery did what it was supposed to do, and we should be “back to our normal” soon enough.

The bad news: none. 😊
Congrats and continued pixie dust xoxo

Well, this is a new Universal Hotel, not on property. It's not even going to be open until July sometime. It is Universals Endless Summer Resort. Average $115.00 per night before tax and occupancy. Shuttle to the parks. Rooms with two queen size beds. I'm not going until September. They are not luxury, maybe 3.5 stars at best.
Please take some pics and give a review when you get home tank you

It’s 73 right now and mostly cloudy. Headed to 79. It’s a bit cooler than it has been . Feels like early Spring. We’ve been hitting upper 80s the past two weeks and dry. It felt like July and August here. No rain in two weeks. Rain is supposed to start tomorrow through the weekend. Grass is already browning!😟
I am happy to share our rain. If I could just reposition the heavy duty fans I use to blow our snow @MinnieM123 's way...

As long as there is a bed, a shower, and it is clean. What else do you need?
