Oh, stop making sense, for heaven's sake! :hilarious:
The current ones don't plug into anything, but, it could be adapted to do it via the 12v** port on most all new cars. It really depends on how long one keeps a vehicle. I lease this and my last car for three years and didn't have to change the batteries. Even my spare that hung there on a hook for three years with no usage at all... was still strong when I traded it in.
Used to be the cigarette lighter. But, one will still have to take the fob out of ones pocket. Who's got the time for that bother? 😠

I also start my car remotely with the phone app. The doors stay locked so I have to have the fob to get in.

You have a Jeep too, right? Try one time to remote start, get in with the fob, put in gear, then park and get out and set your keys down, car still running. See if you can get it in gear again. The person I’m talking about has a ‘19 Grand Cherokee High Altitude... i couldn’t believe it happened, so I tried with my Wrangler. Same thing! I’m not sure if it’s all new vehicles or only Jeep 😂

Nope, no jeep here... I have a Chevy Trax.

I bought that 5 days for the cost of two promotion as well. I only planned for two days, but, this was cheaper then the two day tickets. It gives us a little more flexibility if we have extra days we can use a no extra cost. I'm staying in a Universal Hotel as well because they have a special on those through the end of the year.
Awesome! When are you going? We are staying at the Royal Pacific...it was my concession for not staying a night at the Poly. We had planned to do that, but they didn't have anything but preferred rooms, or something like that...anyway, one night was $1300. So we nixed that, and we're staying at Universal's version of the Poly for 4 nights instead.

I am now going to vent. I brought youngest to cheer practice today. Evaluations were posted on the website. As expected my dd was moved up to the next age group. Now all the kids were given numbers, so their numbers were posted next to the team they were going to be on. This mom I don’t like, and after what I tell you, for good reason, takes her phone and talks to this other mom and says “so and so is this number and is on this team”. Apparently she took a picture of the attendance sheet from yesterday that had all the kids names with their numbers next to their names. She starts talking about who will be on what team! Then she writes everyones name down to figure out the roster. Is that just wrong? Or what? I am so ticked off right now and I don’t know if I should tell the coach. I am the only other parent here so if I tell and the coach discusses this in a meeting she will know that I told. I am fuming. The nerve of this woman. I was too shocked to even say something directly to her, plus with my dog passing I need to be careful with what I say. There will be 16 or 17 on the team which is big. There were 9 last year. So she asked me “what do you think?” 16 kids. I said “That’s fine” (in an uninterested way). She said “Are you not happy about that?” I said “It’s fine. I am just thinking of something else.” I kept myself from snapping.
I'm not sure I understand. If everything was posted on the website, why is it bad that she is talking about the results? Doesn't everyone already know? And why so many on the one team now? Did they combine some teams?

OK, the good news re: today’s eye doctor visit:

The gas bubble is down to 15%.

Eye drops reduced from 3x day to 2x.

Eye pressure went down from an alarming 32 to 12.

No more sleeping face down, just not on his back (which he is doing right now :banghead:.)

Reading the eye chart with that eye went very well. (The bubble was cooperating and staying out of the way.) He got down several lines, to the point I had to put my glasses on to read the last one.

There is still more recovering to do, but it looks like the surgery did what it was supposed to do, and we should be “back to our normal” soon enough.

The bad news: none. 😊

My poor DD and SIL were supposed to fly out at 2:30 EST starting their trip to LA. Mechanical problems with their plane. Now not leaving until 6:50 heading nonstop to Baltimore then catch a 10 pm nonstop to LA. Get there around 1 PST. I feel so bad for them to be stuck at their airport for 5 hours!😟

I had to deal with something similar once. I was supposed to go to Orlando for High School Graduation gift from my parents at the time. The High Graduation gift was Disney trip.

What happened was the plane going to take off, some type of a problem happened and the flight was delayed over a couple hours. The airline was either Midwest Express(later on Midwest Airlines) or Delta.

Well, this is a new Universal Hotel, not on property. It's not even going to be open until July sometime. It is Universals Endless Summer Resort. Average $115.00 per night before tax and occupancy. Shuttle to the parks. Rooms with two queen size beds. I'm not going until September. They are not luxury, maybe 3.5 stars at best.
