There is that, however, frankly I am always amazed at men's rooms. It's like every single male has never seen a flush toilet and only used outhouses. Unless they are the automatic flush they just plain never flush the toilet. Is it that hard a job or are they so germaphobic that they would rather leave their waste for others to take care of? There really is no excuse for that kind of behavior from men. Kids maybe, but, this isn't just kids and even then they must have been taught better.

I flush no matter where I’m at all the time, and most of the time double flush the low-flow urinals we have at the office, then go wash my hands. It’s just common sense, as there’s a reason toilets were made to flush...!!!!!:rolleyes::hilarious:
And, the men’s room at our office is usually pretty spotless.
Some people are just pigs.

So the question is now....where do I put my EZ pass? I have some kinda of thick black covering right behind the rearview mirror.

Hmm. What kind off thick black covering -- black tinting? I pasted below the instructions for MA -- not sure if the same for RI. In reading (the below), it looks sort of straight forward -- to the the right of the arm holding the rear view mirror.

MA EZ --
Your interior transponder must be mounted to your windshield, just to the right of the arm holding your rear view mirror and below any tinting. Make sure the arrows on the transponder are pointing upward. Peel back the plastic film on the fastener strips and attach the transponder to your clean, dry windshield.

Motorcycles –The transponder should be mounted on the motorcycle. If there is no windshield, it can be placed in a shirt or jacket pocket.

Improper mounting may result in additional fees and a higher toll rate.
To ensure your transponder is properly read:

  • Do not place it on your dashboard.
  • Do not hold it in your hand.

We have recreational soccer here too. Those do not require tryouts and all can play. The big difference with select/travel is more training, more games, and kids who absolutely want to be there, as well as similar skill level with each other and their competition.

T is devastated, he thought he was moving up. I was told that he was on the list to move up, and he’s not. I told him to keep working at it and he’ll get to where he wants to be, plenty of time!

I honestly hate the way tryouts are handled, people are blindsided left and right., all parents should have an idea where kids stand prior to tryouts. It’s heartbreaking when you don’t see a cut coming. I don’t like the lack of communication and blindsides that I’ve witnessed now for the 3rd tryout year.. it’s a little too cutthroat for my taste. Pick the best, sure.. but talk to the parents about where their kid stands before it happens. They are SUPPOSED to take the entire year into account with current players.. but now for the 3rd time I’m seeing that’s not true for all. Current players shouldn’t be judged solely on tryouts.
I think it is time to leave that club.

I’m trying to convince my son to leave our soccer club. He says no right now, but I’ve emailed another club and asked if he could have a private tryout or assessment with the team (all regular tryouts are now over).

We’ve been so lucky with parents on our team the last 2 years.. but I just can’t handle the politics and decisions of the club at tryouts. Once again half of our team was cut, and shouldn’t have been. Only 1 was recommended to be cut. The coach didn’t even have the final say!! How can a team grow together if they do this every year based on tryouts alone??

I’m so over it. I’d rather find a club who wants a team to stay together as much as possible. I’m learning that the big fancy clubs may not be the best choice overall.
Was T cut?

July of ‘07 was actually one of the years we went. Oldest DD had her Sweet 16 birthday there during our trip, and it was amazing...!!!!!!! :joyfull:
We were there for a week, and her birthday was 2 days after we arrived. We were in a family suite at ASM. I went down to the concierge desk shortly after we arrived to ask them if I could pay for some stuff that they could put in our room for her special day when we came back to take an afternoon “break” on her special day. Ashley, from Houston, Texas, told me it would be taken care of and I could pay later...cool...!!! :)
That morning, after the old train station opening show, we were at the front of the line when an elderly CM noticed her birthday button, and got the whole group (a ton of people) to sing happy birthday to her...it was a hoot-and-a-half...!!!!!!! :joyfull:
Later that day when we took our afternoon “break” back at ASM, I couldn’t believe what I saw when we entered the room...
Half-a-dozen red roses in a vase, a Minnie Mouse t-shirt, several balloons, a card from Cinderella, 3 key chains, a Minnie Mouse plush...and I think there was a coupla’ other things that I can’t remember now... 🤔
Anyway, I snuck back down to the concierge desk hoping to see Ashley, but, she was off that day (just wanted to know how much I owed her), only to find out later when we were checkin’ out of the resort that she payed for it all with her CM discount and wouldn’t accept a dime from us...such an amazing CM...!!!!!!!!!!! :joyfull:
That was one Magical trip all the way around...!!!!!!!!!!!
There still are plenty of great Disney CM’s. We do tend to focus on that not so Disney CM’s. I know I am guilty of that. This was a great story.
