Finally got A's exam results in the mail today! He got a perfect score, which I was already kind of half expecting. He did a different exam than DD's school used, but on the bi-annual exams, he always scored the same way she did, and she got a perfect score on hers last year, so I figured there was a good chance that he'd do the same. It doesn't really matter because his school doesn't offer the top level and there's no way we're sending him back to regular school so he can do the highest level. But it's nice for him that he has the score finally, and that he doesn't have to feel any sort of competition with DD. They both got the highest possible scores on their respective tests, so they can be really proud of themselves and how hard they worked.

Congrats, I hope his nerves have calmed down and you have time to celebrate

10 years is quite a while!
Although, the last time we took a Disney trip was for the Princess 5K in Feb. of ‘16.
This is the longest interval we’ve had since our first family trip in 2001.
I know others go multiple times a year, but, we have been cruising instead (not DCL - insane money...!!!!! ).
Hope ya’ have the most awesome of trips...!!!!!

The last time I left Disney, I really didn't think it would be ten years until I'd return.
I ended a difficult relationship last year, and for the first time in forever (no pun intended ) I will spend
a three week vacation the way I really want to spend it. Yep, I am in my mid 30s, and I'll be spending a boat load of money on a solo Disney vacation and I will have the most amazing time!

The hummus is finished along with tangerine rice and mac and cheese, a couple of falafel loaves are in the oven, the veggie platter is chopped, the cucumbers(grated by hand because the food processor was busy) are draining for the taziki, the tabbouleh is ready to go, the salad dressing has been blended and I'm going to take a coffee break!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow! That is just amazing! You must be so proud!

Super proud of him! Like I said, the score doesn't really matter, and we'd be just as proud if he HADN'T scored as high as he did, but it IS nice for HIM. He's very competitive with himself. So he's proud of himself, and that's so great to see. And just nice that the wait for the results is over, because it was really making him stressed.

We went to the movies! He is calmed down mostly now, but he's still worried about camp. I kind of suspect there will always be something he's stressed about, and we'll just take it on a step by step basis, getting him over the next hurdle.
