You must have been extra good in a previous life.

Oh, there’s definitely not a single day that goes by that I dont’t count my blessings.
The first one each day, being just waking up to another day to provide for and be with my loved ones.
That being said, I really need to find a way to provide for them even better so we can all spend even more time together...!!!!! :inlove::happy:
It all goes by too blasted fast...!!!

I think that's right. I think Mr. Ferret mentioned (a while back) that the docks aren't that big in the port, or that it's too shallow for the really huge ships to dock there.

It was the same in Belize on our first cruise.
Ships “anchor” well offshore, and passengers are tendered into Belize City. Same with Grand Cayman on our second cruise.
Although instead of being tendered into Belize City, we did that snorkeling excursion along the barrier reef, and then hung out on Starfish Island afterwards. But, we did tender to GC for the Turtle Centre excursion...man, I can’t wait for our October cruise, and our dear little Emy can get introduced to the turtles, too...!!!!!!! :joyfull::inlove::happy::)

Great memories...!!!!!

That is such a different office activity. Pretty cool and odd at the same time. Congrats on 3rd place!

:hilarious:
Thanks, everyone participated and had a blast!!!
I had seen the local morning news crew of the station we watch go there about 6-8 months ago? They were going to different businesses at the suggestion of viewers, but, I had no clue it was something our office would ever do.
Thanks for the 3rd place congrats!!! :) I was still gettin’ praise at our Monday morning meeting today, as the 2 guys that came out ahead of me were less than half my age...!!!!! :hilarious:
I just didn’t involve myself in any of the pre-game trash talk...yes, 8.5x11 memes/graphics are posted all around the office by the various teams to mess with each other during the week of these types of events...!!!!!!! :joyfull:
We’re just silly that way, but, we also all have a good sense of humor...and, no matter what, we all work together to put out the best product possible. We work hard, and play silly, but, it works...!!!!! :)

Rogue One was on tv last night. I had never seen it and unfortunately fell asleep at 9:30 last night so didn’t see the ending. I did enjoy what I had seen up to that point though.

I finally watched it all, and it was OK.
I just can’t shake the love I have for the original 3 movies.
They just seemed so much more whimsical, even though they had their dark moments, for sure. Much more levity, corny, cheesy, whatever.
Everything since, just seems too dark for my taste. Definitely not wanting to start a debate here.
I’ve now seen all the main movies (so far ;)) all the way through, and the first 3 movies are the Star Wars I prefer...!!! :)

I love the matching dresses. Clean shaven- very nice look.

Yes, they look sooooo very beautiful together...!!!!!!! :inlove::happy::)
Thank you, and yes, DWifey was not a fan of the facial hair...she doesn’t like facial hair on men, at all.
I asked her to please let me grow it out once, since I had never done it before to any extent in my entire life, and she agreed.
I actually got many compliments on it (definitely unsolicited), but, have also gotten many compliments on it’s recent demise...!!!!! :hilarious:;):)

For me, it was fun to do once, but, that was all I needed, and I appreciate DWifey agreeing to let me do it...!!!!! :inlove::happy::)
And, if anyone ever asks, I now have a few pics to prove I can actually grow out a bit of manly-ish-esque facial hair...!!!!!!! :joyfull::hilarious::D;):)

I had a margarita today. Not for Cinco de Mayo. It just now occurred to me that it's Cinco de Mayo, and I drank a margarita. I just really like margaritas.

This concludes my short story about margaritas.

Well make sure to visit LaCava 'inside' the Mexico pavilion. The best. Nothing outside in the Mexican pavilion is nearly as good.

Either way is fine, but IMO, I think you look younger without the beard. (Just my observation only.)

Well, seeing as you're paying bills, while also enjoying a number of vacations that included the family, I'd say that you're providing very well for the family. As you stated above, it all goes by too fast. So, it seems like you've struck a reasonable balance between working hard at your job, and also having time to join in weekend family events, and also family vacations away from home.

Sure, we probably all want more money than we make. But there's a trade-off between a comfortable wage, and overworking. Overworking brings in more pay, but I've seen people get too tired and stressed out from that, and unable to enjoy the "present" time they have. None of us knows what tomorrow brings, or if we get hit by illness, etc. Happened years ago to my own father, who worked hard all his life, hoping for a good retirement--that he never got to enjoy, because illness took over.

I wonder why. Do you think maybe because the summer season hasn't started yet -- and maybe they truck in the softer sand perhaps around the Memorial Day weekend? Just a thought.
It wasn’t like coarse, it just was not like very fine type that I have seen elsewhere. Guessing it is just geography and as @Goofyernmost said, maybe a lot of that sand was brought in from further offshore at one point. The beach was beautiful and very wide. I think the water temperature was only 62, which is way too cool for me. There were some people, possibly related to you ;) that had no problem jumping right in.
