Another item done on my relaxation day, tangerine rice

It's raining so I got my steps in, am totally caught up on BBT and picked out the fabric for my Easter dress

Easter dress? Sounds nice. I truly can't remember the last time I bought any clothing for Easter. Maybe part of that is because years ago, it was a big family event. Now, everyone is so spread apart (and also my parents and some relatives passed away), that all I do is go to church. I might cook a nice dinner for hubs and me, but that's about it. (However, I do partake of chocolate rabbits, even a few weeks prior to Easter! )

I keep forgetting that you have some extended family not too far away, and I guess it's probably a more festive get-together event, and more fun to dress up.

It would be, but I'm having some knee issues, so not riding for a while anyway. (Not the same thing, but at least we go out for dinner tonight, as we always do anyway on Friday nights! )

I want a chicken. I read a book about this couple that moved to France. They built a coop and had all these chickens. The chickens definitely became their pets. They would come up to them like dogs and cats

I hope your knee issue isn't serious but yea for dinner you don't have to cook. Take the cooking part multiple ways

As soon as it is consistently warm. Probably not until I get to Florida in May. Then when I get back home, probably not until July.

I wore short sleeves today and I went out for recess.
It is currently 56F as I post this. The weather at recess was possibly 60F?

Ended up getting sent home from work an hour ago on account of being sick lol, the guys were tired of me constantly coughing.

Oh dear. Maybe relax on the sofa and watch TV. Be sure to drink lots of fluids. No partying this weekend! Get well soon.

To me, the hardest part would be coming up with appropriate names for chicken pets.

I had a cat once as a kid, and as an adult, I've had 2 dogs. But, no chickens.

No carrots please, and also I'm not a fan of raisins. Other than that, I would love that recipe!!!

P.S.: I do like carrots, just not in this particular dish. Thank you very much.
