I seem to think that the only thing that changes on 95 down south are the South of the Border signs and the Glory canned good billboards. What's the most interesting to me is how different it is then my first trip in 1983. So many new buildings and housing. Some of the old still exist, but, they all seem to be abandoned. I remember seeing the old tobacco drying sheds along with falling down sharecropper houses along the way. Not anymore.
That is another thing that has not only changed, but, have been numbered down. South of the Border signs have become a whole lot less clever and, dare I say, politically correct when no harm was ever intended just a play on words. Oh, well, they were always fun to read and in the days before GPS were really handy in knowing how far away we were from the north/south Carolina border.I seem to think that the only thing that changes on 95 down south are the South of the Border signs and the Glory canned good billboards.
We've never turned on GPS on 95 and only twice in Orlando. That is another thing that has not only changed, but, have been numbered down. That would be excellent news if true. Last trip some person had a stroller that would easily fit both my boys and it was for one childI’m sure hoping @lentesta is spot on
Am told WDW and DLR will start enforcing stroller size limits May 1: 31" by 52", including a "no wagons" policy. Seems to be addressing strollers like the Keenz 7s?
But will this stop those soccer warrior moms (Mama luchonas in the mexican slang) with their double XXXXL armored super strollers from barreling their way while insisting its their right to enter with these monstrosities? That would be excellent news if true. Have you payed attention to the abundance of Orange County Sheriffs and Disney security at entry points now?But will this stop those soccer warrior moms (Mama luchonas in the mexican slang) with their double XXXXL armored super strollers from barreling their way while insisting its their right to enter with these monstrosities?
Thinking the Keen Wagons pushes them over the edge. Just the burden alone on security when they were loaded down with cooler s and baggage. No kids. That would be excellent news if true. Last trip some person had a stroller that would easily fit both my boys and it was for one child
I don't now and didn't then for a very good reason... there wasn't any such thing. The closest was those AAA travel booklet maps. After the first trip I never needed any of it again. We've never turned on GPS on 95 and only twice in Orlando.
