Yeah, I made sure I'd know the fees going in. I'm glad I load attention because there was a really low rate for the initial leg, but you couldn't use the overhead bin space for a carry on. I paid extra because I really need two carry ons.

The small seat thing is pretty much true any time you fly economy. I've flown with them before so I know what to expect.
thats the funny thing of having 3 very cheap airliners in my country.

Each of these 3 have things the others do not have for free and so on.

Some are VERY spacious in the rooms, but baggages are not included. Others have baggage included, but you have to pay for food and drinks on board, as well for printing your ticket..

but yeah.. since United merged with Continental.. their service have been the worst.

She has harassed my DD twice now, same lady telling her that her carry on was too large and she had to check it. DD stood firm knowing it was correct...we all bought new carry ons when the dimensions changed. Then she told her she had to zip the extenders. DD said no, it complies. She yanked the bag away from her and DROPPED it into the the metal rack and it easily fit and flings it back at her pointing to the jet way. I really wish some of these executives would see what is representing them and how they antagonize the customers just cause they can.
wow.. just wow..

I don’t think the year round or August start would fly in my state because the tourism industry lobbied hard for the after Labor Day. They rely on a lot of teens to fill positions.
Didn't stop Milwaukee from its public school system having a early start program for some of its public schools. The schools in the early start program start in Mid August and end in May based on what I read.

Let me just say that it is a terrible idea, especially when you live in a colder state. The kids don't get to enjoy the warmer weather long enough. They should start right after Labor Day.

I've always despised the heat. When I was a kid on summer vacation, many days I just wanted to stay inside. I'd always hang out in the basement, because it was a bit cooler down there.

My mother told me I really needed to go out and play with the neighborhood kids, but I hated the heat. So, I invited them all to come play indoors in the basement! :p (I think my mother found me to be a bit of a challenge.)

Yup, I saw that earlier. Yay! Still might Lyft there but then take the bus back. Have to figure water parks out this year since we didn't get the APs that have them included.

Yea for restoring the direct bus service to/from the resorts. The connecting bus routine they perpetrated on guests for the past few years was a deal breaker for me--I had stopped going to the water parks once they started that insanity. (Not enough buses at the connections and the guests were angry for the long waits and transfers.)

So, Jack the problem dog, did something bizarre and new, even for him, today. When I rushed out to work this morning, there were 2 bananas on the table. Came home tonight, and didn't see them, so I asked hubs if he ate 2 bananas? He said no.

We then found on the floor, just the top stems of 2 bananas . . . :cautious: . . . and nothing else. That means that the dog climbed up on the table and dragged down TWO bananas and ATE them -- PEEL and all!!! :jawdrop: :jawdrop:

Next time leave them on the floor so he doesn’t hqve to climb on the table. :hilarious:

Sounds like you both made the best of a bad weather situation. How much snow did you end up with.

We ended up getting only 7 inches of snow. The snow pile in the front yard is now a mini-mountain. It reminds me of the Matterhorn at Disneyland. We are going to be getting rain tomorrow night through Thursday, so a lot will melt but probably flood in places too. :bored:

That sounds like a wonderful idea!

My DD will be at DL with marching band next spring break. If you think of it, and it isn't too much of a hassle, could you send some tips/ pictures of things 16 year old girls might like?

I think that teens would really like Space Mt (much better than the WDW one), Matterhorn and Indiana Jones. In DCA they would probably love Incredicoaster, Guardians Mission Breakout, and Radiator Springs. I doing a year-long trip report, feel free to check it out. Right now it is mostly about holiday related stuff from our November/Thanksgiving trip but there are other non-holiday things too. If you have specific questions or want a specific picture just let me know.

Here's a link to my trip report.

On the bright side, you and he got an early night. ;)

Lol no, I wish!. He went straight to baseball, which on a positive note, would have arrived late due to volleyball.

GK was at 5, Volleyball 6, Baseball 6:30. All in different locations within the Greater Cincy area 😂🤪

Tomorrow is soccer training (seperate from his club) from 5-6:30. Baseball is 30 minutes away from 6:30-7:45. He’s doing his whole training session, and then he’ll change in the car again on our way to baseball. (That practice is with his own school’s team, the one we’re not on due to my negligence). I did this to us.

That second emoji is an accurate portrayal of me right now.
