Yup. It was more about finding a flight at a decent price. If I did Baltimore to Honolulu, it was $1600 on Delta or $1300 on United. Same if I did it flying through DC.šŸ˜± I finally figured out on United that you could book a round trip flight and do all airports in a general area, so I was able to get a low fare from DC and then end up back in Baltimore, and it was much cheaper. Weird.

Just remember that most United planes have the smallest spaces between seats and also upcharge for a lot of stuff. but you said you got a deal with everything included, right?

Yeah, I made sure I'd know the fees going in. I'm glad I load attention because there was a really low rate for the initial leg, but you couldn't use the overhead bin space for a carry on. I paid extra because I really need two carry ons.

The small seat thing is pretty much true any time you fly economy. I've flown with them before so I know what to expect.

Last thing I do before sleeping....I want to add that my 19 years of happy marriage is what I really treasure. 2 sort of dates in Ireland is unique but I would not trade the blessings I have now for that time period in my life.

That's sweet. :inlove: How blessed and woot for your wife too, many are married a long time or longer without that kinda respect for the institution of marriage. Always makes me smile when someone honestly can profess their love. Keep on going Sir!

Understatement. But Ohare is a Hub for United and tends to be more reliable but I am a short woman and it is tight. Due to flight schedules if we fly into Ohare we tend to fly American. Their seats are larger as is the under seat area but at MCO they outsource their baggage checking and also have obnoxious outside company stalking passengers loading the plane and harassing them. A businessman loading the flight in front of us was stopped and told he'd have to choose and check one of his bag as he was only allowed 1 carry on and one personal smaller item. She told him he had three and pointed to a small grocery bag holding only a sub sandwich. He loudly retorted OK check this. The AA gate agent put an end to it with the Bag Lady. She has harassed my DD twice now, same lady telling her that her carry on was too large and she had to check it. DD stood firm knowing it was correct...we all bought new carry ons when the dimensions changed. Then she told her she had to zip the extenders. DD said no, it complies. She yanked the bag away from her and DROPPED it into the the metal rack and it easily fit and flings it back at her pointing to the jet way. I really wish some of these executives would see what is representing them and how they antagonize the customers just cause they can.

We do better overall with Midway and SouthWest most of the time. It is a rougher neighborhood especially landing around midnight so we tend to avoid it coming back from Disney.

Listen to your DH on this one. I've had Vera Bradley products before and they really don't last. The $20-$30 wristlets I get at WDW held up better. I had a Vera Bradley one that I really loved, but it just fell apart on me after a while.

I have had very good luck with Vera Bradley, wristlets, purses and luggage. I love them and they are light and they wash very nicely.

I think liking it is a reason. Everyone has things they don't necessarily need, but love anyway. I'm sure he has something similar....how about grilling tools? People can get by with basics, but they get the more expensive things because they love them or they are handy. Just because someone else doesn't use a particular thing doesn't mean it's useless.
Star Wars stuff:banghead:

My poor old bag is has been wearing out so I may make another one later this year. I'm hard on bags so investing in one may not be a good idea. :(

Yeah, not if you're hard on them.

I have one that I got as a graduation present from high school that's still in really good condition. But I don't carry it very much; it's more of a special occasion bag. And then I get the Disney purses that are $30-$40 and last me a while. I had one that I wore out after about three years. I never found another one I liked better, so I bought the same one again.:hilarious: The second one has actually lasted longer. But I digress.

Wallets from Disney are surprisingly good quality.

We've had really good luck with the purchase with purchase backpacks from Disney, they've lasted at least as long as Jansports:joyfull:

No backpack can outdo my LLBean.

It went all the way through college with me, on every vacation since 2014, around WDW in 2014, and it's still going strong.

We used to go through a backpack a year before I noticed my best friend in elementary school never replaced her LLBean. We wised up. My brother's been carrying the same backpack since middle school, and he's now a junior.

Figured you must have been busy this weekend, when there was no photo of Emy's church outfit! ;) Our church had lower attendance due to time change, and also due to the snow/sleet storm we had. (I don't drive in that stuff, but I did walk and it was really nice--hardly anyone out yesterday morning, so really peaceful.) :)
