I hate the sound of strong winds! The sound makes me nervous!Yum Cranberry Sauce.
There is one window here that whistles LOUDLY in strong winds. In 65mph there isn't the thing called sleep. Still not as annoying a someone Snoring ...
In the middle of windstorm night #1 about 3am I got up and hunted down my headphones and slammed them in my ears...it blocked out about 70% of the wind whistles volume.

Agreed. If we "saw" someplace only by looking out an airport window then we really didn't "see" that place....those don't countIt is! Previously working for the airlines, I should have made it to all the states, but alas I haven't. I didn't count the ones I have just hung out at the airport in, like Colorado... I mean, technically I've been there... but not outside the Denver airport!
Do you have them roasting on a spit yet? It makes it easier to shave off the meat, I hear. Please not again! Some is starting now up here. Tonight's dinner groundhog gyros

Spring is already hereGood morning, everyone! Hope all is well. I am pretty far behind, so just jumping in. Nothing much different going on here. Just waiting (impatiently) for spring.
Been there with both of my parents, years ago. It's really hard to deal with, and I can empathize. Sorry to hearabout your mother.
Those orchids look lovely. I tend to kill all plants that have the misfortune of winding up in my home.
It's nice to know that hard work pays off. Wishing them success next weekend as well.I learned today that dd’s team got the highest score any mini team(5-8 year olds) ever got from our gym! The gym has had a competitive cheer program for 17 years now. They got a 94. Hoping for another great performance this Saturday in Hershey. They are up against 8 other teams this weekend. More tough competitors.

Whataburger looks good but the nearest one to NJ is in Georgia.
I guess it'll be awhile 'til I'm down there again
