I just looked up the store--there are 3 in MA. Never been to one. I've seen the flyers but basically ignored them. Looks like some sort of discount store for a variety of things. For some reason, it just doesn't appeal to me.
Thank you. I'm just glad the buildings aren't going to remain empty in some areas. There may be one going into a store near one of our relative's houses so when it opens up I'm going to check it out.

My older 2 do a lot of their homeschooling online and independently now, and I tend to focus on my younger 2. I depend on my older ones to tell me if they are having problems in math or whatever. I learned by looking at grades that my oldest was having an issue in math. I said, “Well why didn’t you tell me?” It isn’t like I am not right there. I always ask if any help is needed and it is always no. She said, “I didn’t want to bother you”. The child is doing pre-calculus. If she needs help I can help her. I am literally in another room with the other two kids. What is the point of homeschooling if you are not getting good grades? My threat is you may as well go to public school if you have these grades. That tends to work. She has been doing better. Half way through the course now. My youngest loves science too. She has only 2 weeks worth of work left of her 36 week science course. She plows through it. She is studying about planets now. She was so upset when we were done studying about the human body. That was her favorite. She loves these youtube videos made by a science teacher in New Jersey. His name is Mike DeMaio. Here is one video as an example.

That was good--very informative. He could call his video, Hurricane facts for kids and adults. (Either that, or maybe I just learn things a lot easier at a kid's level. :hilarious: )

THNX and just to add to it Sanaa and Nomad Lounge has a few items that are gf/vegan right on the menu:hungry::hungry::hungry::hungry::hungry: no changes needed:joyfull::joyfull::joyfull: Most locations that have Mickey waffles also have gf/vegan/top 8 allergen frees ones as well. edit I wonder why there was no mention of the beignets at French Quarter or Erin McKenna's:cautious:
If only they could make gluten free vegan pretzels, or vegan Mickey bars. They could use coconut ice cream and Enjoy Life chocolate.

Although I don't have any food allergies, quite a few people do have them. I'm surprised they haven't come up with some options like you mentioned above. Have you shared your idea online with WDW?
As much as I wish Disney would add more options they do a much better job dealing with allergies than most other places. Universal only has gf/vegan options at 3 of the 4 sit downs in the parks and not all of their on site places even have an option

It was a thought that crossed my mind as I was typing. I emailed them before about selling chocolate almond milk or coconut milk. I got an I will share that suggestion response.

@MinnieM123 and @FutureCEO have you ever heard of Ocean State job lot? If so what type of sore is it. I was curious because I saw an article saying they would be taking over some of the closed Toys R Us locations. thnx

That's interesting. It's a discount retail store. For example, I love the brand Peanut Butter and Company which is around $6 in a regular market. It's around $3 - $4 over there.

It's like the Christmas Tree Shops if you ever heard of that.

Yah, the flyers seemed to have somewhat similar types of things that you'd see in Christmas Tree Shops flyers. Glad you found some things you like in there. I think for me, I'm just not in much of a spending mood these days, and unless there is something I really like or need, I'm not buying.

Yea! Yes I like Christmas Tree Shops all my Pyrex measuring cups and gardening gloves came from there. I also have gotten quite a few books from there:joyfull:

As a side note observation here, Pyrex is a good product; but a few years ago, I found that the measuring cup painting on the sides of the cup was wearing off, from multiple dishwashing.

Conversely, a company called Anchor Hocking's measuring cups never had that problem, so I've only bought that brand for the past few years now. They sell it at the Target in my area.

Does anyone think celebrating the "New Year" is silly? I mean....this new year feels just like the old year. And next Dec. 31st this current new year will definitely be an old year. 10, 9, 8, 7.....the entire thing is just so random.
....I didn't want to post about this back on Dec. 31st or Jan. 1 because I'd be a "party pooper" or a New Year's grinch....but now seems like a safer time to post on the subject ;)
