This made me laugh. It just came back on. We were headed down to turn on the generator. What a way to end 2018!

My best friend is "back home" right now for the holidays, and apparently they are getting a blizzard and all the roads are closed. Her daughter wanted to see snow and got a bit more than she bargained for.

Went to see it today, and we just loved it. The only person we didn't care for was the actor playing Michael Banks... he just lacked something.

Spunk? The original Michael was very spunky. Of course that spunk was prior to being an adult with adult problems, so maybe he changed.

Wow that is sooo interesting! Are you using Skype or something that allows you to see whoever you are teaching?

The company has their own Skype like platform for the computer, so yes, I can see the kids and they can see me.

I did a search online for online tutoring. Wasn’t sure actually if it was a thing. The company popped up onto my screen. You have to supply them with any credentials and send in an audition like video. I don’t have teaching credentials, but I went past undergrad, and I homeschooled for 8 years. Then you do a mock class. I passed on the first shot. So, I applied and was hired within a week. Hoping the positiveness continues.

Oh wow! I loves me a TV that takes up a whole room!! That's always the fun aspect of staying in hotel rooms--oversized TVs.

Really though, your accommodations are super nice there.
