I am usually to school long before I am required. Yet I think your employer was unfair to require you to stay 45 minutes after the kids were gone.Wow....when I was teaching elementary music, I had to be there by 8, we started at 9, and had to stay until at least 4...kids got out at either 3 or 3:15....I don't remember which. Do you also get a planning hour?
I bet he is.I'm wondering if my cousin is out there....he lives in Northern Illinois and he was sent to Puerto Rico after the hurricane to help get the power back up.
That’s awful! So dh received a Christmas present for ds at his office from Lego. Fedex delivered it. The Lego box was wet and damaged. He thinks Fedex tried to hide it by repackaging. So now I have to call Lego and see how I can return it and get a replacement without having to get charged and getting credited only when they receive back the shipment.

Thanks. Yes it’s more annoying than anything. If the flashes get worse, lots more floaters develop, or my vision gets worse, I have to call. But she said it looked fine.
But, it can also mean a partially detached retina. I would recommend seeing an eye doctor again sooner rather then later. Floaters happen but the flashing usually indicates something more important. It might by what Minnie said, or it might be something far more serious. Better safe then sorry applies strongly here. It may be fine, but, with my past years (three years actually) experience with eye problems I am super cautious about anything in or affecting my vision.I've had those before. With floaters, if you close your eyes for a short time, they'll often just go away.
Had (occasional) flashes with zigzagging lines for years,, too--the eye specialist told me (after taking a full history) that the flashes, in my case, were actually ocular migraines--which means that there are no headache symptoms, but the auras are there. Those are annoying as they mess (temporarily) with your vision, but they also clear usually in a few minutes.
It's somewhat genetic--my mother, grandmother and I all had migraines and combo headaches when we were younger. Luckily for me, it didn't happen often, maybe every few years I'd have one.
Oh yeah that’s why my eye dtr said if I had worse flashes or bunches of floaters all at once to call her. I don’t mess with my vision. I had a very thorough exam yesterday. No torn retina. But, it can also mean a partially detached retina. I would recommend seeing an eye doctor again sooner rather then later. It was meant to be used for planning, and we were supposed to be there in case a parent or another teacher needed to come in and talk to us.I am usually to school long before I am required. Yet I think your employer was unfair to require you to stay 45 minutes after the kids were gone.
So the rescue pulls dogs mainly from kill shelters. It's insane the amount of healthy, happy dogs that get put down or shot every week. We work with a couple vets offices to give the dogs full medical checkups, and then someone fosters the dog to see how it does and what it's personality is. In this way, the rescue is able to fully vett the dogs before they get adopted, meaning we can answer questions like if they're food aggressive, or if they like cats and kids, and if they enjoy bath time. Then when people are interested in the dog, they get a home visit to make sure their house is what the dog needs, and then they get a meet and greet with the dog to make sure there's a bond and chemistry. And the dogs benefit because they get loves and snuggles and lots of walks before heading off to their forever homes. Adopting from a rescue is more expensive (like $300 ish per dog) than a shelter, but you don't know what you're getting with a shelter dog. But definitely adopt from a shelter before adopting from a breeder!!
I only had her for the long weekend. Her real foster went to Florida and we didn't want her back in boarding. So I'm only nice part time, LOL
