I've had those before. With floaters, if you close your eyes for a short time, they'll often just go away.

Had (occasional) flashes with zigzagging lines for years,, too--the eye specialist told me (after taking a full history) that the flashes, in my case, were actually ocular migraines--which means that there are no headache symptoms, but the auras are there. Those are annoying as they mess (temporarily) with your vision, but they also clear usually in a few minutes.

It's somewhat genetic--my mother, grandmother and I all had migraines and combo headaches when we were younger. Luckily for me, it didn't happen often, maybe every few years I'd have one.
You know the girl that did my preliminary work before seeing the dtr mentioned the headaches. I am going to look into that. Thanks! My DD gets migraines. Not me or DH though.

I used to get nasty migraines, but when I got pregnant and since then, I only get auras and no debilitating pain, which is sooo much better. The auras are annoying, though, and last up to 15 minutes for me.

I got all my decorations out of the storage area I have besides the tree. I'll being starting tomorrow. I have 7 brackets up now for my 2 Christmas shelves now. My 2 shelves are up I have other spots that I have to decorate also. I will not show any pictures. I don't like showing pictures of my stuff.

I am willing to giving information on one of the shelves with brackets. It will include a Disney Village Deluxe Castle. There will be Fireworks above the castle.

EDIT: I spy my little Dumbo in the upper right, I guess just for you lol.
Nice! I took a sick day from work today (nothing major, just a cold my brother was kind enough to share with me...:cautious:) so I spent all day on my Surface. I finally checked the battery at around 7:30. Err...9%. Whoops.:hilarious: Charges a heck of a lot faster than my old one did.

Yes, this one has been awful. The wind is crazy. We were lucky to keep electricity. A lot of people have been out since Sunday. I look outside, and the service line to my house is very weighed down with the snow. It was a good thing we didn't have school, as shoveling the drive was an all day job. It is so heavy, with icy stuff packed under, that you had to do it in short shifts. And I still haven't been able to get through to ComEd about the limb that fell, but is caught on an electric line. And in case you were wondering...Oh look! More snow! Grumble, grumble.

A block from here a big honk'n branch broke off and hit a electric pole that also held a major transformer Sunday night. My friend lives on that block and at about 11pm Sunday night her husband not only heard the loud boom but said the entire area lit up in a bright orange fire ball. The lights only flickered here during all that so apparently on the different transformer grid. This afternoon there were 4 power trucks lining the block. Sure hope they got the power back.

I don't know how this iPad will be however my new iPhone takes longer to charge than my old iPhone ever did but it holds a charge much much longer than the old one did. So we shall see with the iPad.

Sympathy like, please tell me you're in until it's safe out there!

I had things to do today. I only went to Target to pick up a couple things and a few extra things I didn't know I needed :cautious: and came back. There was still too much frozen gray stuff on the roads and in the parking lot. Didn't venture out again. Mt. Laundry instead.

But this made me miss Walter. :joyfull:
