Sympathy like. I hope you can find some time to rest. I know it's a busy time of year, but you can't give what you don't have... so if you have no energy, you won't be able to do anything for your family. Make sure you take care of yourself!
Thank you again. I took an hour nap today and cut some fabric out. It's a no stress day:joyfull: I have cooking to do tomorrow:banghead:

I feel so bad....DS got completely freaked out tonight. Last week, work was insanely busy...like, we had to stay late to get the orders finished, AND we worked on the weekend. Well, now it's completely dead. Last week we were getting 500 orders per hour, this week we're getting like 50. So yesterday I was sent home early, and tonight they had called a bunch of people and told them not to come in, or that they only needed to come in for half their shift. So we get there, and find out the last truck of the night isn't coming. Because of the black friday sales across the country, the postal service can't handle the workload...there aren't enough trucks/drivers. So they weren't sending the 11pm truck. Since it was completely dead anyway, the boss told us at the beginning of the night that we were stopping at 9 instead of 11, because we couldn't send the orders out after 9 anyway, and it wasn't worth trying to find enough work to keep us busy until 11. (We were actually struggling to have enough until 9, and we finished all the orders and had the truck loaded by 10 to 9.) So I called DH at 8 to tell him he could pick us up at 9 (one of my coworker's husband bring's me to work and then my DH picks us up and brings her home). I guess he didn't tell the kids that he was picking me up early, and they went to bed at 8:30...I guess DS couldn't sleep and came out of his room, and thought he was home alone....didn't know where everyone was or when we'd be back. So we got home and he was hysterical. Poor kid!! He was so scared!

Sympathy like, poor baby. I hope he's recovered by now. If my boys woke up to an empty house I'm not sure I'd have one any more:banghead:

So how does fostering dogs work? And what kind of dog is that? Looks pretty big!
I don't know how the one she did works but I have a friend who fosters large dogs through the local shelter and a Saint Bernard rescue group. He gets a call when the shelter is full or from the rescue group when a new one comes in. He's not well;)

Thanks. Yes he was!

At least your dog has manners and politely begs. My dog, Jack, goes straight for the jugular--any food (that is, ANY food) left unattended for even a second. gets stolen and chewed up in warp speed.

Yesterday, I had a half a cup of eggnog on the table and went into the back room for a moment. (Surely, no dog would have any interest at all in eggnog.) Came back and he's got his paws up on the table and his goofy face inside the cup, slurping eggnog, and spilling it on the table!! :banghead:

Next time have her go 4 to 7am;) We went to almost empty stores:joyfull:

Speaking of empty stores, here's a tip for all of you. If you want a grocery store all to yourself and want marked down items, go the day after Thanksgiving. I did--didn't really plan it, but we were almost out of food so I figured I should probably buy some. :p Glad I picked last Friday to do that!

Thanks. Yes it’s more annoying than anything. If the flashes get worse, lots more floaters develop, or my vision gets worse, I have to call. But she said it looked fine.

I've had those before. With floaters, if you close your eyes for a short time, they'll often just go away.

Had (occasional) flashes with zigzagging lines for years,, too--the eye specialist told me (after taking a full history) that the flashes, in my case, were actually ocular migraines--which means that there are no headache symptoms, but the auras are there. Those are annoying as they mess (temporarily) with your vision, but they also clear usually in a few minutes.

It's somewhat genetic--my mother, grandmother and I all had migraines and combo headaches when we were younger. Luckily for me, it didn't happen often, maybe every few years I'd have one.

That’s because DD took him to a trainer. He is doing really well now. He still has some work on coming back when they call him though. 😉
